Works Great
Already love Mario Badescu products beforehand so this is no surprise. The acid lightens acne scars and even scars on your arms and legs. My only complaint is that the liquid itself is a little too thick for a dropper needle. I think it would he better applied using a wand applicator.

Serum
This serum is thick, takes a bit to absorb and most of all is very sticky. I prefer serums that soak into my skin and do not leave a stick residue. I was using this on red patches on my face. I haven't noticed much of a difference yet, but I will update if anything changes.

Great serum
This serum is really great. It is thick and sticky and takes a few minutes to dry. Other than that the it seems to be working great, my skin looks great!

Thick clear serum, takes a while to dry
My wife says: To incorporate this serum into your nightly skincare routine, you might need to add some extra time. This thick, clear, unscented serum spreads well but takes some time to dry fully, and you skin will be a bit tacky/sticky in the meantime. Since they recommend use at night, this might not make much of a difference for layering on moisturizer, but it could impact a morning routine before makeup, etc. I haven't had any irritation using this product but it seems to have drawn out skin imperfections in the first few days of use (causing a breakout). My skin seems to have settled but I'll update if there are significant changes. It doesn't seem to be drying and my skin feels soft after use when the product has absorbed fully. The formula is free of many components of cancer - phthalates, parabens, sulfates, fragrances, etc., and is made in the USA.

Great product, sticky upon application and beyond
I love Mario Badescu products- consistent results and great quality. This clarifying serum is no different- I apply it after my normal cleaning routine and have seen great results (clearer and cleaner looking skin). I've seen positive results after a week of consistently using this serum. My complaint is that this product applies thickly and sticky- and stays that way for a while. I've tried to move my routine around to give my skin time to absorb the serum before putting my face on a pillowcase, but the stickiness lasts longer than my bedtime routine. Still worth buying this product- just be prepared to either let your face dry for a long period of time or hopefully you're a back sleeper!

Mario Badescu Clarifying Serum with Azelaic Acid
I didn't have the same issues with stickiness as other reviewers report experiencing. In fact, this is less sticky than another acne serum I had been using until I received this. It also did not make my face as dry and tight as my old serum. I haven't experienced any new breakouts since using this and it hasn't caused any other skin concerns such as burning or redness. Dries clear, doesn't flake.

works fine but not my favorite
This serum has a very sticky texture, which makes it hard to spread it all over the face. I don't feel like I can get a good coverage, so it doesn't spread well. It absorbs very quickly, it makes my skin feel tight but not softer. I did not notice any difference on the skin after having it overnight. It seems to be an okay serum, it doesn't make my skin any worse but it doesn't seem to make it any better either. I don't particularly like the sticky feeling. I think it is at a good price point but it's just not one I would go for.
