They are reasoanble waterproof. And they are warm.
I put Amazon through six orders of gloves to find gloves that keep my hands warm. In the cold air, my hands literally turn to ice and become painful making it difficult to use or even feel them. I tried three pairs of electric gloves and I returned them all. I kept two Carhartt gloves, this and another pair called Carhartt Men's Cold Snap Insulated Work Glove. The waterproof gloves are indeed waterproof. You'll have to fill the gloves inside to get your hands wet. Rain shed off the gloves like a good ourdoor tint. The bonus is that they are warm. Only the the Cold snap gloves were warmer. I kept both pairs of gloves base on their strength. THey seem to well-constructed with nylon sewing neatly used throughout. The Cold snap glove also have a nylon exterior with leather fenders to protect the knuckles. THe leather get wet but I didn't notice a difference. I very rarely write revies as I don't loke the work but these gloves deserve some attention as does Amazon for putting up with my shenanigans ordering and returning the unwamted gloves. I will say that I found it interesting that my own blood ciculation moved enough warm blood and the both gloves retained enough heat to make them feel normal. I went outside and sat with them on with temps in the mmid thirties, fahrenheit for a good thrity minutes. If my hands felt warm with no activity, then when I'm doing honest work, they'll be just fine. I'll leave a review for the Cold snap once I figure out how to do that.

Very soft and warm in the inside, keeps hands dry even though the outside of the glove absorbs water.

Not easy to put on sweaty hands
These gloves fit great at first, then my hands got sweaty and it became mission impossible to get them back on. They obviously do what they are supposed to, they kept my hands warm! Although, when your hands are sweaty/damp the material inside the gloves adheres to your hand and makes it very difficult to slide on. I have average sized hands I would guess so I don’t normally have that issue with gloves. Also, tightening the gloves is virtually impossible when you are wearing one.

Yummy
Bought for hub and wanted some for self. Couldn’t find Womans. Decided to buy small men’s. They are large on me but they are so warm (it’s very cold here in BEND OR), the insides are plush. It’s interesting about the “pair” issue, his arrived with 2 complete sets of gloves. I was given one complete pair. Most confusing. Not sure about the water proof biz yet. He is outside snowplowing now, will soon find out!! Too bulky for driving !! The cuff is cozy and keeps cold out. Very happy and I think they are worth the price!!

Buy a size larger than you think would fit.
My hands are not very big, I ordered size large, but can barely get them on. It actually hurts to try to put them on. Once they are on they seem really warm. Order a size larger than you think if you buy these.

A tight fit
I bought these for my dad when I noticed his old pair were cracked and ripped open. I got him a 2X and they were still a tad too tight. But will still work for what he needs the.lm for.

Men's Insulated Gloves
I only have these gloves for one day and used them for a while. I did not try them in wet conditions. During cold weather is not recommended to let anything get wet to start with. I am not doing outdoor activities especially in the winter. I bought these gloves to use if I have to shovel some snow from wheels of my truck, or for moving the garbage bins, or carrying things between by truck and my home during cold weather. For the one day I was wearing these gloves I found them to be comfortable and they kept my hands warm. I read a review from someone indicating when buying these, order the next size up from what you actually measure. I took this advice and did so. Even at that, they fit me okay but almost on the tight side for when putting them on or pulling them off. If I ordered the size I determined myself, they would have been too small. Gloves are like a coat. You can always wear a bigger size and be comfortable, but not a smaller size. Overall, my impression is they are decent gloves for general type use. I like them.

Warm and comfy, but stays damp inside.
Prairie winters can be brutal when your job is outside, and these do a great job keeping hands warm and feeling comfy without sacrificing too much dexterity with hand movement. Only downfall is if your hands start to sweat or if snow somehow gets inside and the inside layer gets wet, it takes forever for it to naturally become dry. Even if you put them over a heater or a warm air vent in a vehicle, it still takes a while for them to become dry. When it's damp inside, the gloves are prone to becoming ineffective to the cold and wind which cause your fingers to freeze quite easily. But if your hands don't sweat and you don't let any snow or wetness inside, they're great gloves.
