Good quality my son starting sparring in karate

X Small Cup - not so small

I received this package with the prime shipping so it was right on time! I was hoping that the cup wouldn't have been so big being an extra small but it is still too big for my 7 year old. He put it on and it was uncomfortable for him. I think that the quality of the cup is good however it was too big for him. I thought maybe it would come with the underwear to put the cup in but it does not. Thankfully, I have an extra pair of underwear from a cup that he previously had but unfortunately, I lost that cup which is why I have been on the hunt for a new one. He was wearing it and then had to take it out because it was too uncomfortable. My son is 52 inches tall and about 60 pounds so he will try wearing this cup again next year and see if it will fit better. I would recommend this product even though my son can't wear it because he is still too little in size. I would have given a 5 start had he been able to fit in it.

Protects them nuts.

Protects my son's bits during Taekwondo sparring. That's really all I ask of it. The ShockDoctor cups have a weird amount of Z-axis extension, meaning they are really deep. They seem to be well made, comfortable and durable.

For ages 7 and younger

I ordered this based on another review stating it was perfect for a 10 yr old , as there was really no actual sizing listed. This cup is very tiny, and the important info that was left off the product page is that this is made for age 7 and younger. This cup was definately too small For my son. I'm not sure about trusting it's effectiveness compared to other cups I've purchased in the past, but that may be because this was designed for little children who are just starting sports. Wish I could send it back, however, I'm not going to return it, as my son tried it on. Bottom line, I would buy this if my son was a lot younger, and in wrestling or soccer. But would not recommend this for baseball, football or karate, at any age

It's more comfortable and cooler

I have a 7 year old that plays a lot of baseball, he was struggling with his old cup which he wore in his slide pants. Important to note, he has played infield since he was 5 in an 8 year old league, so we got him playing with a cup early. after his complaints I ordered this. It is just what he needed. It's more comfortable and cooler. For all the moms and dads that are trying to get your son to wear a cup, this is a great place to start.

Uncomfortable without correct underwear

Do not get this cup unless you have the underwear that goes with it. We got it in and tried to just have it in his regular underwear and it was uncomfortable. After buying the underwear it fits in, my 7 year old was good to go.

My boys wear with no complaints!

These have worked out perfectly for my 4 & 6 yr old boys (PeeWee size). We started w/ 1 last season, my oldest never once complained about it now my 4 yr old is wearing the same one this season with no complaints. Just make sure you put in on the right way...the narrow point goes between the legs. (a mom on our team had it on wrong HA!)

Es de los protectores más comodos que hay

Mis niños juegan baseball y este tipo de protectores son los más cómodos por ser flexibles. Sin embargo creo que este era más pequeño Vs otros similares que tenemos de la misma talla y de otras marcas.

Perfecta para Karate

Elegí extra pequeña para un niño de 5 años y quedó perfecta. Hay que comprar el suspensorio aparte por qué si no es inútil.

Me gusto lo flexible y que el niño se sentía cómodo jugando
