Size????? Small pockets.

I have not tried Amazon Essentials before. I liked the price when it was at its lowest, but the price fluctuated between 24-35$. I bought at $24. I got the dark denim because the lighter denim that I really wanted was always out of the 12L. It is a classic dark denim color which I don't love, I wanted the lighter, but they are never in stock so the dark will do. Overall, they seem okay. I normally wear a 10 pretty much in any brand, and I buy long length because I am right on the edge of normal lengths looking short. I am pretty handing with a sewing machine so I buy long length and adjust them myself. However, in the AE brand, after reading reviews, I bought a 12L and boy am I glad I did. They fit (close fit) everywhere, but at the top of my thighs they are almost too tight. Just on that one spot is the only tight feeling part of these jeans. I washed and hung them dry and they did shrink a bit so I am hoping the stretch will soften and they will be comfortable enough to wear. My reason for docking a star is because the long length, is not long, at all. I either got a mis-marked pair, or the long is in reality more like a normal length. I do not have to adjust the length at all and may even have to un-turn the hem, I haven't decided yet. For reference, I am an average 5'8 on a good day, so I am not tall by any means. Since I have washed them, I obviously have to keep them, but I will think long and hard before buying AE jeans again due to the odd fit. Fair warning, they have serious girl pockets, can't put anything in them other than a hair tie or a few coins. I would not trust my drivers license to stay in the pocket if I tried. In my opinion, the back pockets also sit a little low. I do not have much of a butt, and the placement of the back pockets made me think I had even less of a butt.

Can't keep on

Jeans are very well made "BUT" constantly pulling them up (frustrating) I really love them wash very well don't fade, shrink, or fade. Kept slipping down maybe because I have no hips?

Great jeans

Love these jeans. Just a little stretch and they wash up nicely without too much shrinking. I think they do run a little small, but I am currently in between sizes so works perfectly for me.

I won't return them, but I think the price is too high for denim being so thin. Boot cut. If they go on sale, jump on it.

Nice Jeans, But No Stretch in Waist

Nice jeans, but no stretch in waist. I’m usually a size 6, sometimes a 4, but I had to get an 8 to accommodate the waist. They are a little baggy in legs and hips. I also have long legs, and these are the perfect length. I did not notice much shrinking or color running like others.

Great fit

Jeans washed well, stays soft but doesn't get baggy in the butt or in the knees. I'm low waisted, so these jeans are perfect. I hope they come back in stock.

Nice jeans, runs small

I’m usually a 10 in most brands. These jeans fit great in the legs and hips but are super small in the waist. I would say closer to a size 6 or 8.

Decent low cost jeans

Comfy, right size and looks good. Not the best quality but to be expected for the cost - a bargain

Diseño bonito

El pantalón es muy bonito y tiene un buen corte, lo que no me gusto es que la tela es demasiado delgada, posiblemente en climas cálidos funcione bien, pero si vives en un lugar de templado a frío, no son opción, por lo menos para mí. El corte en general es muy bueno, creo que la cintura viene un poco justa y no es flexible.

These are long jeans!

I like the fabric, the rise and the fit. I wish they were a tad higher in the waist, so I am not always hitching them up. The style is a bit off for a straight leg. They fit tight on the thigh, but then bag from the knee down. Perhaps because the length is long, but I rolled them and same issue. They need to modify these a bit and make them a true straight leg from waist to ankle. Super price point!

Way too small or wrong tag put in

I wear a 14 in 90% of my pants. Pull these out of the packaging and thought it was a joke. There is no way I am putting these on. Held them up to my daughters size 8 jeans and the waist was a bit smaller than hers. Do better Amazon.
