Good product, poor packaging.

The product is great, but the packaging was not. The bottle was not fully tightened and leakage resulted. Fortunately the bottle was contained in a plastic liner which confined the leak.

GREAT!! Moroccanoil Smoothing Shampoo, 33.8 oz

I have ALWAYS loved Morroccanoil products. I've used them for over 15 years. Recently, my salon stopped carrying Morrocan Oil products. (They're a small shop, and the minimum order just became too large for them to stock. The loved the products.) When I saw the shampoo and conditioner on SALE for Amazon Prime Days 2021, for $14 off the usual price, I ordered BOTH the Smoothing Shampoo and Smoothing Conditioner. Normally I do not order this BIG 33.8 oz size, but the price was too good to pass up. AND now that I have them, I like the fact that they come with a PUMP on the top of the bottle. Easier in the shower than the flip top on the smaller bottles. I originally started using Morrocan Oil products at the recommendation of my stylist, beginning with the Moroccan OIL. (The photo is of MANY of my previous products.) I LOVE the scent!!! I have thick, wavy, dyed hair, and have sometimes used the Repair line, and sometimes the Moisturizing line. As I've aged, and since I live in the high arid desert, my hair gets "flyaway". The Smoothing line works for reducing that "static" in my hair. You won't go wrong with any of these products, and the scent is divine!

Almost perfect

I absolutely love the smell but I hate that it doesn’t lather. The bottle states to add more water to later and no matter how much more I add, it doesn’t. It actually tables my hair horribly when I’m trying to wash it.

Not pink but white! Weaker fragrance!

I have to use more of the shampoo and conditioner product than previously! Fragrance is not as prevalent.

Finally got what I was searching for - Hair smoothing

Literally have spent so much and got tried of trying so many so called hifi salon brands. but not even one justified, always my wavy hair was unmanageable, tangling and dull. even tried using leave-in conditioner and still didn't help. bought this one after one my friend suggested and i washed my hair today just once and didnt apply any conditioner though, just a shampoo wash. definitely i can feel my hair smooth. I am going to use for a month and see if that finally helps longer. also i will come back and post the review after a month.

Great for frizzy, curly hair

I have nightmare hair. Naturally grey, coloured, wavy/ curly, prone to frizz. My usual products haven't been doing the job lately. I already use Morrocanoil curl cream, combined it with this shampoo and conditioner, hair is gradually feeling softer, shinier, and the curl is holding better. I am converted!

A must for a Keratin treatment.

I would never use a normal shampoo after an expensive keratin blow dry, this bottle lasts a long time. It doesn’t have suds so don’t panic just use normal amount.

It dries out my hair

I’m a super fun of Moroccanoil products, in fact I use all the moisturising line (and the mask is the best mask ever on the planet). However, the smoothing shampoo did not nourish the hair as I expected and did not smooth it at all. The hair was drier than before and I couldn’t wait to go through the bottle to go back to my original moisturising shampoo of Moriccanoil.

This smells wonderful and my hair feels fantastic after using it. I have coloured (blonde) mid length hair that I wash twice a week and try to completely tame, to which I always think I'm fighting a losing battle, (no one can do it better than a hairdresser - can they?) My hair was still flyaway but it felt and looked lovely & I get lots of comments regarding my hair when I use it. Would I buy it again? At that price? Probably not, but only because I like to try different things.
