Wonderful nightgown.

Wonderful. Elegant nightgown and just what I was looking for. I found the sizing to be on target for US sizes. I think it is overpriced for the quality, but gowns next step up in quality were twice as much. It is made from material common to slips and can function as such. Elegant, comfortable, and versatile overall.

This is nice, if the price is right.

I was looking for nightgowns that had a defined cup area/something to keep a chest in check and I decided to give this a try since it looked decently supportive. I lucked out by finding a color variation in my size that was much less than the rest. I paid $11 and change for it and honestly? the gown is just fine, but I wouldn't pay more than that for it. The Pros: the chest section is made out of this stretchy, relatively soft lace. Im actually a size 16-18 right now and usually get an XL in nightgowns, I took a chance on a Large in this though since it was pretty cheap and the sizing worked out great for me. Im a 38C cup, and the fabric does a good job of keeping things front and center. If you have boobs, you know what I mean by that. This was the main thing I was looking for in a nightgown, so for that alone, I will rate this 5 stars. If you are wanting something with coverage though, this isn't for you. It's very sheer. The Cons: This just looks cheap. I got it in pink and the material is very shiny. I saw that the other colors are ranging from $35 to about $48 and I can't believe that anyone would pay that much for this nightgown. No way. The material in the body of the gown is also pretty sheer as well, but you can see that from the picture. It is kind of a weird combination, between the see through lace on the chest and sheer, shiny fabric and the length of it, its like it can't decide what style it wants to be. Its a demure length with sexy elements to it. I'm 5'10" and it comes to the bottom of my kneecaps, so it's pretty long. It just seems like it should be shortened a bit or something. There is just an odd feeling about the style. But overrall I am happy with it. If the other colors were as low as the first one I bought, I would pick up a couple more. But not unless the price dropped significantly.

Longer then picture shows

I got the black gown and it wasn't what I expected. It isn't knee length as shown, but down to your ankles. I'm 5'8" so it still looks great on me but on someone who is shorter I can see how it could be a problem. It is very thin marital and the lace top is sheer not solid as shown. It is very flowy and sways when you move, which is ultimately why I kept it. (Makes me feel sexy :) ) I have fallen asleep in it a couple of times now and find it surprisingly comfortable to do so. So over all It's an ok but defiantly not what is shown which is why it has 2 stars.

great gown

I had ordered a black and a red gown several years ago. I really liked them so I purchased this one just to switch up colors. I am enjoying the shorter length. As I stated in my review of the gowns I previously purchased: these fit very nicely and enhance areas that are better enhanced, and diminish those that should be, if you know what I mean. They wash and dry well on a gentle cycle. The lace bodice, while there is no lining, is not so see through that you feel vulgar. The lace is not scratchy. This is a "classy" gown. However, it is not modest enough to wear around someone other than your husband. ( your children would be embarrassed)

Flattering and Pretty

I had this gown in the long length already so I knew how this one would fit. The top enhances my shape and the bottom is full and flattering. The fabric is not fully see through but I wouldn't wear it in front of children. Not really sexy, but definitely suggestive, which my husband enjoys! I wash this in cold water on the delicate cycle and dry on low and it comes out like new each time. I have had my first gown for 6 years and it still looks new; the lacy stretch fabric has kept its shape. If you are looking for delicate, feminine nitie this one is a great choice.

Photo misleading.....

This nightgown is beautiful and fits true to size. The lace top fits beautifully and is very flattering. It is see through on the top which I expected but the material in general is very very thin and feels cheap. The biggest disappointment is that it is pictures as knee length but when it arrived it comes down to the ankles.....and I am 5'6 so it's not that I am too short ....I would not have purchased it if I knew it was ankle length because I already own a very similar ankle length nightgown and was specifically looking for knee length.....disappointed with the advertising.

Love this!!!!

So pretty! I love this night gown and will order more! I am 5' 2" and weight approx. 145 lbs. The gown hits me just below the knee. It is a soft, thin satin, which is similar to a slip. The lace bodice is beautiful and provides great (and surprising) support if you have a larger chest. I purchased the small and it fit perfectly! It is very flattering.

What a wonderful feeling

This is the most gorgeous nightgown I have ever worn. When I wore it to bed I could not sleep because the feel of the soft silky nylon was so exciting. I have been wearing it as a house dress over a pair of Shadowline nylon panties so that I can enjoy its wonderful feel. I cannot wait for summer so that I can wear my new nightgown while I enjoy my morning coffee on the deck.
