Excellent cutters!
I bought these cutters in several shapes. Metal cutters are made from metal strips that are bent into a shape and the ends are fastened together. At that point, there is an overlap, which always has to be smoothed out. Metal cutters also easily get bent out of shape. With these, the edge opposite the cutting edge - the edge you hold onto - is much thicker than the rest of the cutter; it makes a great handle and helps the cutter retain its shape. The unexpected aspect of these cutters, though, that is my favorite thing about them, is that they are very slightly funnel shaped. After you cut, if you turn the cutter over, the piece falls into your hand or onto the cutting board. No more gently coaxing pieces out of the cutter so as not to deform them. They release right away. These were more expensive than many metal cutter sets, but absolutely worth the money. My only regret is not buying them months ago.

Great value and quality product!
My wife and I took a pasta making class and became instant culinary rock stars among our friends. Everybody wanted us to bring pasta to our friendly dinners, pot lucks, etc. The pasta cutting rings that we used in the class were really slick! They made fast work out of ravioli and cappelletti. Unfortunately they are CRAZY expensive! These were a much cheaper option and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. The ONLY negative comment I can make is that they aren't quite sharp enough. I used a piece of 100 grit sandpaper and worked the edges a bit and now I have clean-cutting pasta rings at a fraction of the price of the name brand.

Exactly what it says on the tin, no surprises
I bought these for shaping plastic clay (Sculpey brand, specifically) into disks, and they work perfectly towards that end. They have a nice upper lip so you can press down hard if you need to, and they all fit concentrically in the container they come with. Excellent product, glad I bought it, would recommend.

All the necessary sizes in a handy container
I chose this because 1) they were nylon and therefore wouldn't bend or rust, 2) the set has a wide range of sizes, and 3) it came with its own storage. I've been very pleased. The container is fairly robust. The cutters are sharp enough to go through bread dough for making rolls. Using a cutter instead of running a knife around a tuna can certainly makes assembling mezza luna ravioli, pierogi, or pot stickers a whole lot easier! Updated several month later: All the above still true AND several of the handier sizes have been through the dishwasher several times with no ill effects.

Excellent Design, the Perfect Cutter!
I'm using these for cutting clay to make ceramic mosaic tile. After cutting 100 tiles I realized the true genius of this design. Not only is the cutting edge appropriately "sharp" and the upper edge thick and comfortable to my hand, the real piece of design brilliance is the overall tapered shape that allows for easy removal of the cut clay. The top of the cutter is slightly wider than the cutting end. Cutter holds it's shape and edge with repeated use. Very happy with my purchase!

good cutters
i am using these with polymer clay. I am enjoying the graduated sizes and the ability that i could bake these with clay if i desired. Thinking that might provide a good dome effect. Havent done that yet but will in the future.

Save and get these!!
Let's see, I have used the more expensive brand by Matfer and I"LL say there is no difference. Some people will argue and say there is and it's all psychological, yes really. This set lives in my knife case and get used often and work great! Save your money and get these. I also have a number of other Fat Daddio's products and the quality is great as well.

Expensive but worth it
I can only imagine these are great for cutting dough but they are not what I use them for. I use these great nylon circles for arts and crafts for both my children and myself. The best part about these cutters is they are so durable and they have taken a lot of abuse with absolutely no issues. I couldn't be happier.

Los cortadores son de buena calidad, llegaron en su estuche. Son duros y resisten caídas, el empaque comenta que soporta hasta 160 grados lo cual es bueno. Obviamente no es para freír u hornear. Pero son excelentes por el precio lo valen.
