Great for kids lunches
My kids love these books to take warm things to school. The only thing to remember is, don't have an ice pack in the same bag, the ice pack will win. I warned me 14 year old, she didn't listen.... Got a text at lunch and she said her ravioli were ice cold. Otherwise, my girls love them

Fit & Fresh Lunch Container - Doesn't allow you to choose color and it doesn't work that great
My son is a picky eater and after many weeks of cold sandwiches for lunch I thought it would be nice for him to have a hot meal at school. I found this Fit & Fresh hot lunch container and assumed this would take care of my problems. I went to order this and find out you can't choose the color. After looking at the 4 available, 3 are suitable colors for a boy and I figure my odds are pretty good of getting one of them. Guess which one I got? Yea, the pink one. My son wasn't impressed but said he would take it to school anyway. I heated up spaghetti until it was way too hot for even an adult to eat and put it in the container and put the lid on and it was steaming hot! This was at 7:45 AM. His lunch is at 11:45AM and he opened it up and it was cold. All he got to eat for lunch was his ceral bar and pudding that he also had in his lunch tote. If your child likes to take cold fruit to school this could be a good item for you.

The spoon is garbage
The spoon is garbage and broke with first use. Additionally, this doesn’t really keep foods hot or cold. Otherwise, it’s an okay container. I use it to send lunch to daycare fir my toddler. Works well with thick stews and pasta dishes.

Very useful!
Receiving random colors on this product is kind of a pain cuz I have girls and I have boys and I needed colors for both not just for one got the wrong colors Amazon totally made it right sent new ones my whole family uses them we love them it's awesome. Also great high volume capacity most containers like this only hold about 10 oz I know the four ounces doesn't sound like much of a difference but it makes a huge difference love it.

I haven't had any problems opening the container per the other reviews. However, if you get the lid screwed on crooked so that the threads don't line up, it can be difficult to open. We've been using ours with 2 kids for 2 years. The plastic inside is starting to wear a bit, but no problems otherwise. I would buy this again if we lost ours or they became too worn.

This product is not as flawed as previous reviewers might lead you to believe. I have not had any major problems with it. Getting the spoon off can be annoying, but it's just as easy to pack extra utensils with the rest of my lunch. I heat it up by putting boiling water in it for 15 minutes. It keeps the food reasonably warm, for a time. After seven hours, the food isn't cold but it isn't hot either. I use this container to bring hot lunches to work, and it does the job. It probably isn't particularly user-friendly for children, but it works for me.

An Excellent Addition to the School Lunch Kit
These insulated containers were an excellent addition to our stash of food storage products. They not only live up to their promise of keeping the enclosed foods at the appropriate temperature, they also exceeded expectations in a critical area: the leak test. ZERO LEAK! We cannot even say that about our supply of insulated beverage holders. In extensive use, we found that the Fit & Fresh Hot Lunch Container performed equally well for stews, mashed potatoes, beef tips with rice, fried chicken, and an array of goods in between. It was especially appreciated for transporting honey garlic wings, and the compartment in the bottom was great for holding the necessary wet wipes. Oh, wait, did I say something about a compartment in the bottom? Why, yes! The makers have included a compartment in the underside of the container that can be used for such things as napkins, condiment packets, etc. The carry handle is particularly sturdy, plus provides a little extra oomph when getting a tight seal on the twist-on lid. The included spoon is a nice benefit as well, particularly for children who attend "boomerang lunch" schools. (A "boomerang lunch" school is a school in which ALL waste from a child's lunch is returned home to the parent.) We found it was also quite sturdy and easily withstood the occasional drop on the floor. (Again, this exceeds our experience with insulated beverage containers.) I have exactly 2 improvement suggestions for Fit & Fresh regarding the Kids' Hot Lunch Container: 1. The spoon can be difficult to remove from the lid. We found this true with both units we purchased. Is it possible to manufacture them with a slightly looser grip on the spoon? Or perhaps with some mechanism for leveraging it loose easier? 2. The placement of the napkin compartment is potentially a minor problem for 2 reasons. The first is that it is obscured by the underside labeling - I wasn't even aware it was there until the 4th time they were used and washed. The second is that it might be messy if the lid is not firmly secured when a child turns over the container to take out the napkin (or other enclosed item). While I realize the placement of the spoon may preclude this, is any way to build this into the top of the container instead? Overall, I can honestly say these are the most heavily used lunch containers in our household. They are well-loved, and I plan to purchase more of them.

Does what it says - insulates the food. The integrated spoon is awesome. I ordered 2 and my only complaint is that one leaks and the other doesnt. Dont use anything too liquidy without testing first.

Disappointed - Does not keep food warm
This product does not keep food warm. Your food is cold in less than an hour, its no different than tupperware. Its also quite bulky, yet the interior isnt that big (given the bulky size). Ended up purchasing a thermos product which actually works, spend a little more for a product that lives up to its claim.

Not hot
My daughter complained it did not keep her food warm, i.e. did not perform as advertised. For this simple reason it will be returned. I will also mention, the included spoon was difficult to detach.
