Make sure you get the one with the bits you use

Been using this Wiha driver for about a month and so far it’s been great. I like the long tip holder and the grippy handle. The assortment of tips has been great and it’s always had the one I needed, except the PH3. Only down side has been the pop out tip holder. It’s easy to pop it open which can interfere with your task. It only happen when I’m pushing on the back while twisting it though. The tips are double sided and fit the screws solidly without wiggle. I can put serious torques on a screw, enough to break one. So far I’m happy I bought it and would recommend.

My go-to driver

I bought this as an emergency tool for my touring motorcycle and end up grabbing it out of the saddle bag to use all the time, so I bought 2 more. I am very pleased with the construction of this tool. The locking collar is extremely secure to keep the bit in place. The handle is comfortable, and the driver portion is very robust. I can see how folks in other reviews have issues with the bit compartment. With enough use, I could see it breaking, but I think the design is the best it can be within the parameters. I have had mine for over a year, and no concerns yet. Even though this is the "industrial" version, I find it is the perfect fit for motorcycles and small engine repair. There is an ample selection of standard and metric torx and hex "Allen" bits. I have yet to find a project where I haven't had the right bit included.

Indispensible

The media could not be loaded. Great product, considering each bit tip has two tips you can fit a lot of options in the handle. Wiha always makes nice grips and this is high quality. Very satisfied- you press the two releases and the handle bit holder pops out, the bit holders fit snuggly and bend nicely. It feels well made and works well and is pliant enough to work well even when it's really cold. Great price/value.

LOVE IT

Love how everything is stored in it, makes it easy to use and switch bits. Amazing addition to my tool box. I plan to get the other versions of this as soon as i get the chance.

Use only as a bit driver you stupid...

Works great, have 2 (home/work), just do't try to use as a pry bar or chisel, I got LAZY and needed to chisel off a sticker using a flat bit, hitting the handle end I broke a locking tab (while say'n to myself "you stupid C..T") and the storage mechanism kept (past tense) opening with any vibration. Found the locking tab on the ground later, snapped it in works normal. Just don't be a stupid "C" and it'll work just fine.

Cheap, but functional

Pressing the two red tabs does not release the plunger with the bits. You need to press both tabs and insert a thin screw driver or knife edge to get the top to pop open. The metal "bit-release collar" works fine, but the action is hideous. I suspect one rough end of a spring is rubbing against the shaft of the screwdriver. The action is more rough than running nails down a chalkboard. I added lots of light oil. That didn't help. I would say 100% this is a Chinese copy. No German would sell such garbage. However, the bits that are included seem to be of good quality. Note: I ordered extra Wiha bits (Wiha 77781 from KC Tool). The extra bits from KC Tool and the bits included with this tool are similar, but do not match. Maybe manufactured in different years? I suspect the KC Tool Wiha 77781 bits are genuine.

Handy, solid, daily use

I find myself carrying and using this every day. Machine shop maintenance. I don't find it flimsy. Locking collar works well. I removed a couple bits that I wouldn't often use and I added ones that I would. (Industrial option) Update: Still going strong after a couple months in the field.

Loose magazine.

The driver bits and slot are excellent, however the magazine clip is loose and keeps popping open. The plastic holding clip on one side came right off and I had to distort the toggle to make it stiffer when in the housing. I expected better engineering for the price on a professional tool.

Great quality tool

Absolutely fantastic! Bits stay locked in place. Very high quality. My co-worker has already purchased one.
