A lot better the stock, does the job good

Pros: comes in a good package, these are stainless steel and replaces almost all the stock screws (for slash), a lot of the screws are the big headed screws that you could use pliers on if you strip them and are harder to strip. Its easier to work on RC once installed these. I have a few screws that I didn't need so there's backup screws Cons: it ends up taking me like 3 times longer to find the screws then putting it together. It should come with the screws with spacers built on them like the shock tower screws and a few others. They have been in my RC for 3 years I mean I haven't ran it much but I don't see any rust on them. I bought these for a vxl slash 2wd and I would buy again to replace the weak rusty stock screws.

Missing specific Traxxas screws

This kit does not include all of the screws for a traxxas slash 4x4. It is missing 3642x caster block shoulder screws and 6834 a-arm screws and 3967 shoulder screws for bellcranks. It does have a couple tiny grub screws but it would have been nice to see some stainless 6828 axle pin screws. These are some of the specific traxxas screws that seem to get worn out and disappear during race night and nobody seems to have any spares because they are pretty obscure. If they release this kit in the future they need to overstock these items because they are literally impossible to find unless you have a traxxas re-seller close by. There are a couple really long (30mm) bolts in the kit that you can use along with nylock nuts for your a-arms but there are only 2 of these! The kit should at least have 4 of these so I can do all of my arms stainless. There are a few long-ish bolts (26mm) that look like they would be a perfect fit for the a-arms but they are too short! At best this kit is for those random common screws that may happen to fall out, but none of the rare traxxas specific screws, I guess i'll have to stock up on those from another vendor.

Mainly socket head

This is pretty good set of screws to keep in your RC tool box. Most of the screws are socket head allen, which are not necessarily standard on slash, stamped, and rustler. Most of the time, it isn't a problem as the socket head is better than pan head and will not strip as easy. There is a large variety of screws included, but some lengths or style there are only a couple while certain others you get dozens. I am not intending to complain, I just think people should understand that this probably isn't going to solve missing screw problems for any and every screw you need. I still highly recommend this for every tool box and will probably purchase again.

A great buy to keep in your parts kit

Great selection of screws. I was looking for specific screws for my E Maxx. When buying them in a Traxxas package, they run about $1.00 for each screw. At a local hardware store for the small sizes are $0.33 to $0.59 each for the small sizes I needed (M4x12 cap to M3x12 button head and some in between) And both the Traxxas and hardware screws is just black oxide. This is a great set of stainless screws to keep around. I was going to include the specific sizes of the various fasteners but there seem to be too many and I might miss some. There are socket head, button, taper. Even saw a couple sizes of nuts and a few set screws that look like they would work for pinion gears.

Some of the screws are Phillips head

The flat head cap screws are Phillips instead of hex. They should have all been hex heads. Went out of my way to replace the Phillips on the few RCs that had them. This almost feels like a downgrade. I guess it does beat dealing with rusty screws.

I mean, you get an assortment of screws

I picked up this kit after my son trashed his Stampede 2wd. It was easier to pick up a kit rather than get hard to find, individual (expensive) screws from Traxxas. The screws themselves look nice, and they seem to be working fine, however... They don't match the screws we replaced 100% , and they aren't labeled at all - you have to dig around and hope to find one that fits your truck. One thing I do appreciate is that these can be used with Allen wrenches, instead of the Phillips head that comes with the Stampede. Overall, this kit seems to work for what we needed, but I don't think I'd order it if I needed to replace all the screws on this truck.

Messy but great product
