I wasn't sure what to expect
I'm not a baker. Well, not until recently when I became a stay at home dad. I found frosting cupcakes with a spatula a pain in the rear so I thought I'd get one of these. Let me be clear - I'm frugal. This wasn't the cheapest, but it wasn't the most expensive, and I figured that if I used it, great, if not, I wasn't out a lot of money. Yes, it's a cheap silicone bag with plastic tips. But you know what? It's "good enough" quality and I think it's as good as I will need for being an amateur. The tips seem well formed without any burrs to mess up the decoration. I've dropped the tips and they don't break or anything... I imagine that if you stepped on them they'd break, though. Here's a tip, too - you will need to cut the end off the bag to accommodate the tip collar thingy. Cut a little less off than you think you need. I cut off where I *thought* it should be and didn't account for the elasticity of the silicone. It seemed to stretch more than I thought it would and now it's a bit short. Oh, and I'm a big guy with big hands and the bag size seems just about right. I wouldn't want a smaller bag.

Not whats in the picture (color wise) but good product
My item was originally lost in transit, but amazon replaced it with free next day shipping. However, the picture shows a purple tinted bag with purple accessories, which happens to be my favorite colour and had some sway in me purchasing this particular product over other pastry bag sets. However, the one I received finally, was all clear, no colour to be found! That was disappointing, as was how small the pastry bag actually is. I'm sure this set is fine for the casual baker who is only making a dozen or two cupcakes or decorating a single 9in cake, but for someone getting into the bakery and pastry business, this bag will be outgrown quickly! My only other complaint is the size of the tip openings. The small round opening, used mainly for writing on cakes, or small dots, is quite large and will make for sloppy lettering as opposed to a fine metal tip, but for purely decoration, it'll do. Overall, I can only give this 3 stars.

Easy to clean, reusable
I chose this one because it includes a coupler. Some reviews said that you can use it without, but I’m not experienced enough with pastry bags to take that step. I did end up ordering a 20” bag as well for larger projects.

Itty bitty!!
These seem to be good quality, but they are tiny!! I would have to get creative to ice mini cupcakes with these tips. Bought them to go with my original Fat Daddio pastry bag set, but there's no way they would work. What a waste. :(

Durable, heat-resistant, easy-as-pie pastry bag
I just finished using this bag to pipe hot caramel into candy molds. I was concerned that, as the caramel dried, it might not release easily from the bag for easy clean-up, but I was wrong. It worked like a dream. The bag held up to extreme temperatures (but be sure to protect your hands with additional insulation). This is going to make my holiday candy-making much easier this year!

Could be better
I use this mostly for deviled eggs. The tips plug up too easily compared to the bag it is replacing. I hope to find a bigger coupler for this so I can use my old tips. It is a workable size for a dozen deviled eggs (24 halves).
