Baby basics
I bought this set for the spoon! I remember taking medicine as a kid and really liking the "measuring" spoon. When I had my first child I thought it would be easy to find one when the time came. Let me tell you, hunting stores for this when your child is sick is such a bad idea! I had a difficult time finding this item in local stores where I live. The dropper seems to be more popular where I live. I ordered this set and really liked it. It's a very nice quality plastic. The seal on the dropper is tighter then the one's I had at home already. This would make a great gift. We have only 1 child so far, but when he is sick we manage to go through all of our droppers, spoons, ect fast! I'm a big fan of using only "clean" utensils. Exp if you use the droppers (necessary when dealing with babies as opposed to toddlers). You don't want to contaminate your medicine by using the one included (integrated into the medicine bottle's cap) or using the same one over without washing. Gross! Very happy with my medicine utensil stock pile and the best news is that my son also likes the spoon! Such a cool product. The spoon also has a prop so you can rest it with medicine in it. This is useful if your child fights medicine. You can set it down, calm your child and try again without it making a mess!Dreambaby Medicine Set, Blue/Clear

Measuring spoon is indispensible
It's a bit pricey, but the spoon has been a lifesaver for dosing liquid medicine for our 1 year-old (started using it when he was 10 months). The spoon has more markings than other measuring devices we have. Based on weight, our son is at 3.75 ml for Children's Tylenol, but most measuring "cups" jump from 2.5 to 5 ml. I used to estimate a mid-point between those markings; estimating is not a good thing to do when dosing medicine for an infant. It's easy to fill the spoon handle and see the amount of medicine. The spoon has a built-in rest that keeps the medicine from spilling out when you lay the spoon down. I haven't used the dropper or syringe, but the quality seems good. I highly recommend this set.

Short syringe
These hold more medicine than other sets I looked at, which I like. However, the syringe (which I use to add medicine to baby's bottle) is side and short, making it difficult to fit into a large bottle. I was able to use the syringe for about 2 weeks until the liquid levels in the medicine bottle got too low. Also, the syringe was a little bit stiff, so whenever I pushed out the medicine, the medicine would shoot out and splash milk all over the place. Now I'm back to using an older, skinny syringe which holds half as much. I haven't used the dropper or spoon yet but they look decent. My main issue is that the syringe is so short and squat!

You don’t need it and the quality is poor
For some background knowledge: It was two in the morning (expecting parents please know this is always when you will need to administer meds and you will always be groggy), and I had eaten Chili for dinner (nursing mamas to be this is a very poor choice, learn from my mistake and don’t do it). We were attempting to give Gripe Water. The plunger in the syringe was sticky and not moving well. After several attempts to insert the syringe into our wiggly baby boy’s mouth and to administer meds before he moved I pressed more firmly. My spouse and I were both suddenly sprayed in the eyes with Gripe water. As it was dark I am unsure if the plunger failed and the meds came out of the back of the syringe or if the plunger finally moved and quickly and the meds ricocheted off of baby boy’s face. Either way we will not use this again. In general this product is not necessary. Over the counter baby medication comes with its own delivery mechanism. The only reason we were trying it is I am not a fan of the dropper that comes with the Gripe Water. If your child needs a prescription 1) some pharmacies supply the appropriate sized syringe and 2) you will likely need to measure in 0.1 of ml and the included syringe does not have finer measurements than 0.2 ml.

Excellent for Various Age Children
My husband and I have always struggled to find a good syringe for giving our kids meds. Many of these types of items leave so much in the syringe when the dose is given it is difficult to know whether your child got the right amound of medicine. The syringe is wonderful for giving a fussy infant medicine and knowing exactly how much he received! The dropper has been great has he has gotten older. And my two year old loves the spoon to take his medicine. I would definitely recommend this product. In addition, I am going to purchase another one so one set can stay at home and one in the diaper bag!

Does the Job
Overall this product does the job, but the easiest way to administer medicine to our child is the syringe (rather than the dropper or spoon) and the syringe in this pack is really tight. It is really hard to pull the medicine up into the syringe. I have had a couple times I have spilled the bottle trying to get it filled. It's okay if you have both hands available, but with children often you are holding the child while using the product so you need something nice and easy to use. Again, the product works and does the job I would just like the syringe to not be quite so tight.

it works
this is nothing special, it's a medicine dispenser. It works, and the bulb comes off for easy cleaning. it's a little more difficult to get the bulb back on after cleaning than some other droppers I've used, that's why I gave it four stars.
