Fit small, difficult to put on over shoes
I bought these to go along with my 5 year old's first bicycle. They are cute and do provide protection, but the sizing is misleading. My daughter is petite with slender arms and legs. These are a STRUGGLE. The kneepads have to go over shoes or feet to get on and there is NO give to the stretchy material around the back of the pads. They dig into her knees and arms. I'm on the lookout for pads that don't require you to stick your arms and legs through stretchy fabric to get on. Takes FAR too much time when all they want to do is play.

not for 5+ knees, just elbows
These work okay for my daughter, 6yr.old, for her elbows. These have both a sleeve behind the pad and two velcro straps. Not so great for her knees - which need to be larger pads (no pun intended). I cannot seem to find any larger PINK pads on Amazon for her knees. There does not seem to be a difference in size between the elbow and knee pads. It does come with a re-useable zipper bag to keep them all together.

Well made, sturdy pads.
These are very well made and sturdy pads. My kid rips them off the second that I turn around but I don’t think that is due to the product, just her preference. The colors are bright and cool.

Perfect for my girl.
Durable and performs as intended. Easy to take off and put on. Fashionable for my daughter so she wants to wear them instead of fighting me on it. My daughter is a petite 7 year old and I would suggest them for years 5-9 ... maybe 8.
