Must have for the reloading bench
The weights are good quality and gives me great peace of mind when reloading. I knocked off a star because some aren't exactly right on the money. Verified the weights with an accurate beam scale. For instance, the 50gr weight actually comes in at 50.2gr. Not a huge deal, really. All of the smaller weights seem to be dead nuts on. I still consider this to be a must-have for reloading so you can verify your scales are accurate. I always check my digital scale with these after calibration, and I calibrate the digital scale every time I use it.

"Weigh Off"
A nice set of tools. After finding a small variation between two identical powder scales; same make and model; One of which agreed with my Hornady Lock N Load scale I recalibrated the questionable scale by removing several of the tiny sized shot in the pan hanger. Once the balance beam became level at "zero" instead of greatly elevated on the pointer end these weights measured correctly with much less than a tiny fraction of a tenth of a grain difference between all the scales. (the manufacturers calibration was incorrect) Your results may vary. If you use these remember to never touch them with your fingers. Body oils will change their weight. Use the tweezers.

Weights weighted with laboratory scale
I knew from other reviews that these weights would most likely be on the heavy side. I have a friend that works in a lab with laboratory scales that goes to 3 place decimals on grains. He checked the Lyman weights for me and this is the results. Since they are on the heavy side, they can be corrected much closer to the actual weight and the reason I bought these weights. Nominal Actual Weight Weight 100 grains - 100.168 grains 50 " - 50.062 " 20 " - 20.294 " 20 " - 20.216 " 10 " - 10.046 " 5 " - 4.986 " 2 " - 2.006 " 2 " - 2.006 " 1 " - 1.038 " 0.5 " - .508 "

must have equipment for all reloaders
I have no way to independently check the accuracy of these weights but they have met expectations with three separate powder scales. I give 5 stars to the weights themselves but the storage container and forceps could be improved. The weights should never be handled with bare hands but the smaller ones are especially hard to manipulate in and out of the foam inserts using the supplied forceps. I plan on getting a sturdier set of forceps. The lighter weights in the plastic storage box are too small to be marked and you must refer to the diagram in the paper instructions. Having that diagram imprinted on the inside of the main container would be an improvement.

It does what it is supposed to do.
Not much to say except that it has all you need to verify the accuracy of you powder scales and the price is good.

Useful Calibration Set to Check Scales
These calibration weights are usefull to test the accuracy of reloading scales. Most reloading scales only measure to 0.1 gn of accuracy. I do precision shooting so my scales measure to 0.01 gn accuracy. The 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10 gn calibration weights help me test my scales

I was able to fine 'polish' the 100 gn back to exactly 100 gn ...
The 100 grain weight was off. Read 100.2 on three different scales. All the others measured correctly. I was able to fine 'polish' the 100 gn back to exactly 100 gn though and it was verified on the three scales again.

Reloaders these are a must and very accurate. Had them verified in lab.
Absolutely necessary for accurate scale verification and ammo reloading systems.

Weights are off and very cheaply made
Packaging has alot to be desired the weights slip down and are very hard to pull out, the tweezers are junk made of very thin flimsy metal and half the weights are off. At first i thought my reloding scale was off but then read some other reviews and I'm not the only one that had this issue. Luckily i have access to a laboratory scale and was able to confirm that the weights are out. The smaller weights were almost bang on +0.022GN with all 5 together. But the larger weight were off 10=10.088, 20=20.088, 20=20.022, 50=50.240 100=99.838. At least now that i know the actual weights they can be useful to me but for the price i would expect way better quality. Save yourself the money and buy one of the cheaper kits.
