I bought these for my elderly mother who is now in a wheelchair. These individually packaged MediPed socks are what you are looking for if you want a quality, non-binding, well-fitting sock. Don't make the mistake I did in the past when I bought the cheaper MediPed multi-pack (4 pairs) of the brand's socks; those socks were half the size of the individually packaged socks. I have no idea why they are different but believe me, they are night and day different, SO small, it's as if they were for a child. And I'm not referring to the fit, it's the actual overall physical size of the sock! It's truly bizarre and I don't understand why the packaging photo and description of the multi-pack doesn't explain that to the consumer. When researching the purchase, I was aware of the price difference ($14 for multi-pack vs. $9 for one-pair) but had no idea there would be such a dramatic difference in actual size! Soooo, I highly recommend the MediPeds INDIVIDUAL package of socks ("MediPeds Women's Diabetic Extra Wide Non-Binding Ribbed Top Crew Socks 1 Pair")! But learn from my mistake, save your money and don't buy the multi-pack of the brand because they are two totally different products. Who knew? P.S. This is my opinion; I was NOT compensated in ANY manner. I'm simply a savvy consumer and I wanted to pass along helpful info from first-hand experience.

Most comfortable socks ever!

I’m not diabetic, I just love soft socks that fit snuggly without feeling tight. These are my go for air traveling, when feet can swell a bit, and also for long walks/hiking. The padding makes them a good alternative to wool socks in the summer. They may not be flattering, but are the best socks I ever had!

Even tho they slide around on my feet, they are the best I have found. I keep checking back to see if you have them in other colors; tan, black or maybe some pastel colors?

Nice but advice around velcro

Nice socks. Had Achilles tendon surgery and now wearing a boot for several weeks. The only caution is the material snags badly if it gets caught on the Velcro closure of boot straps. Nurses and doctor not too careful when looking and dressing incision. Love the feel and comfort of the socks!!

Comfortable socks, good fit.

I wanted socks that I could wear with my hiking boots that come up higher and fit more comfortable than my usual wool hiking socks. These were just what I wanted. They're so comfortable that I've started wearing them to bed on cool nights.

These are the ones, right here!

These are the ones with the soft yet strong feeling yarns that cling to your legs like they're supposed to! These fit over swollen ankles for even larger women! I have a drawer full of cheaper ones with tight stringy yarns that are agony to wear that these can now replace -- yay!

Buying more!

I bought a pair for my mother. She is not diabetic but has a circulatory problem in her legs. She loved them because they are comfortable, they are not tight on her ankles and she loves to sleep with them on. She is a 8.5 shoe size, I bought them Medium and they fit perfectly. She wants to buy two more pairs.
