I am exceedingly happy with this purchase. Money well spent! I had been using glass bowls all my life. Once nestled they were pretty heavy. When I accidentally broke all five at once I decided to look for a lighter alternative. These bowls were the perfect choice. Light but sturdy, non porous so I feel confident marinating meat in them, and to top it all beautiful colors. You won’t regret buying them.

I love these bowls - lightweight and great sizes

I ordered these bowls because I was tired of taking out my heavier metal bowls. The sizes are great, because they range from really large to about a one-cup size, with the smaller ones doubling as great prep bowls. They clean up incredibly easily, and you can also put them in the dishwasher. If you are using the bowls for mixing, just realize that they are not very deep, so food can shoot out if you are not paying attention as you stir or mix. I use them often for things like pasta salad, mixing ground beef, pancakes, or even mixing eggs for scrambled eggs. Several years ago I had a similar set, but I dropped one on the tiled floor, and it shattered, but that floor also shattered Pyrex. The the remaining bowls from that first set are still used often. I highly recommend these bowls

Wonderful sturdy bowls that will last for years!

I have had bowls like this in my kitchen for years. They are tough and durable, not to mention very colorful, and make the kitchen look festive. As my children grow up and leave home they each want a set of these bowls. So I am getting them for each of my 6 children. I have the exact colors that are shown in the Amazon picture, but the ones I got in this set are different colors from the picture. That is fine with me, but wanted to warn anyone who is expecting the same colors as the picture that you may not get those exact colors. They are still bright and colorful and sturdy. I highly recommend these bowls. Over the years they remain the bowls we use most often for mixing, storing and serving. They are as bright and colorful as they were when new.

Finally a bowl set that will last and doesn’t weigh a ton!

I have been looking for a bowl set that would work for various purposes - everything from mixing bowl when baking, cooking, etc. to holding popcorn. Dishwasher safe but very easy to clean via hand wash when necessary. I’ve tried other sets that were plastic and they didn’t hold up or the other extreme with bowls that were too heavy. Finally with the melamine I’ve found the set That works and I know the material will last a long time since my mom’s are still around after many years of use.

Vibrant Colors, Love them!

First, I have another set of these bowls (another brand), but someone dropped my largest one on my tile floor and it cracked. This brand is somewhat thinner, but just as nice, since heaviness doesn't matter if dropped. Colors are vibrant and every size is used from grating cheese to straining bone broth. I love using these bowls and use them often.

These bowls are awesome! I’ve been using them for close to 20 years and I still have the first set I bought! They are great for mixing things, storing food in and are dishwasher safe on the top rack.

Bright colors, affordable, and they get the job done!

I was looking for a functional, cheap set of bowls and these fit the bill! Pros: +Affordable +Adorable, bright, vibrant colors +6 different sizes are handy - the red is quite large. I use it as a garbage/discard bowl when cooking. +Love the little outside lip on them - makes it easier to grab and handle them Cons: -Some folks might not care for the fact that they're melamine. I wanted cheap bowls though and these worked great for me. -Melamine can be pretty lightweight. This can be awesome and handy, but also puts you at risk for knocking over a full bowl if you're a bit of a scatterbrain in the kitchen... not that I know anything about that... Overall, these are adorable and I'd recommend them for cheap, functional bowls.
