This is a beautiful bedspread.
This bedspread is beautiful. Washes up beautiful and it did not wrinkle when dried. I am very pleased with this purchase.

It's a nice weight
I'm conflicted on how to rate this. Upon receiving this, it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. The taupe color was exactly as pictured on the monitor so I was happy. The weight of this spread is like a true matelasse. I really wanted a lighter weight than my quilt for the summer so I'm happy with that. It is 100% cotton on the tag, exactly as advertised. I put it on top of my queen platform bed, which is not as high as most people's box spring bed. It did not reach the floor on sides for sure but long enough. I immediately took it off to wash it. No loose threads anywhere, which is spectacular to find these days! The idea that items wait around the world in not always super clean warehouses as they travel makes me reluctant to use without washing. At some point, you're going to have to wash it anyway (or at least I hope so lol), it's not a disposable item so how it launders matters perhaps more than your first impression when new. I followed the tag instructions to the letter, cold wash, cool dry. It shrunk considerably and is now 10 inches from the floor on both sides but still reaches floor at foot of bed This really doesn't matter that much to me. It came out without any wrinkles and did not produce a ton of lint for me. In all of these respects, this is a 5 star bedspread. My biggest issue is with the color. I only took 1 star off for color because it may not be that important to most people. For me personally, it's a huge issue that I would take 2 stars off. The color started out perfectly matching my decor and a true dark taupe. I now hate the color. It's not even a faded taupe and not even in the same color family. I'm not sure how the heck it completely changed to a color not remotely like it started lol! Other reviews of the taupe are correct, it became sort of a "poo" brown as was described. Another said like hot cocoa color, a very very light cocoa. It's nowhere a taupe now. It's definitely a very ugly brown. You can argue that they're all in the brown family, just as you could say baby blue and navy blue are in the blue family. This matters a lot to me that it no longer evenly closely goes with my decor anymore but may not be important to you. I would suggest sticking to very pale colors with this spread. It's still a 100% cotton, good quality spread that is a perfect weight and very comfortable and breathable for sleeping. It's just not pretty like it was 24 hours ago.

Not as advertised
The bedspread is large, that's about the only truth in the description. The smell when I opened the package caused me to step back, it smelled like a cattle barn (I grew up on a farm, I know the smell). I ordered the ivory first but it was too yellow, sent it back. Ordered the taupe, the picture is dark brown, which I could work with. However, the color is not dark brown nor taupe, it was a gross chocolate milk color. Sent it back. Also, it isn't my idea of soft. Would not recommend this item unless you can be very flexible with color.

Measurements were as advertised
Was a bit disappointed in the quality and thickness of the material- so hard to find spreads/coverlets that completely cover the frame /Platform for twin extra long- these did do that.

Nice bedspread
The bedspread appears to be well made, and the dimensions seemed to fit the description. I didn't wash it, so I don't know about shrinkage or wrinkles. I liked the weight; living in a northern state, I liked that it isn't light weight. I ordered it in aqua; I returned it because the actual color didn't fit the description. The actual color is more of a mossy-grayed blue-green; it didn't look good in the bedroom. If the color had been right, I'd have kept the item.

Color is great, but lots of lint with first wash!
It would be nice if the manufacturer could run this through a couple wash and dry cycles before sending to customers. I kept the bedspread because I’d been looking for a lightweight bedspread in this darker green color, and the fabric is soft. It looks nice on my bed ( except now my dog chewed a little hole in it ????).

Nice and light
I like this bedspread. Perfect for summer. I washed it this weekend and the color didn’t fade. BUT it shrunk up quite a bit, like a good 6” or more in both directions. Washed on cold and machine dried. It was generously sized before, not now. Maybe order the next size up?

Light Weight and Big
I want to start off by saying we do very much like this spread; however, it wasn't quite what I expected. We purchased a new king size bed set this summer for which finding bedding has been more difficult than we expected. The mattress is 15" deep so the duvet we purchased didn't fully hide down the sides of the mattress. We just couldn't find an extra wide one that wasn't $300. So we saw this bedspread and decided to try it. The description said it was light weight, but I don't think I thought it would be this light weight. It more like a blanket than a bedspread so it looks a bit informal That being said, this does work for us and my husband likes that the paisley pattern is very subtle. It more than covers the mattress and it was a good price point for us. I do want to rave about the pillow shams. They are nice constructed and big; king size pillows fit nicely. The shams together completely cover the space at the head of the bed, which is something our former set did not. Note that the white is not a bright snowy white. It isn't cream and it isn't a winter white, but it definitely not as bright a white as our sheets and former duvet. It is just a tad bit warm in its hue.

Very impressed
I couldn’t be more pleased with this white cotton paisley bedspread and shams. It washed up beautifully and did not shrink. Be sure to follow instructions. It’s soft and looks lovely on our king size bed. Appears to be a top quality!

Soft!
I have been searching for a reasonably priced matelasse for some time. This one is much softer than any I have previously owned. It looks great on the bed. I bought a double size for a twin bed because I wanted it to reach to the floor. I knew it would be too long but once washed, it shrunk ( since it is cotton) so the fit is perfect. Very cozy but not too hot. Old age makes me hot all the time. In cold weather, I use an extra cotton blanket on the bed. Great purchase!

It is good quality, it is big enough on the sides to cover the mattress and box spring. It doesn't have any odor to it, very pleased with this purchase

For what it is
I gave only a 3 star because there's a faded spot (as pictured) kindof disappointed about that. It pops out. If not for that I'd give 5 star. For the price of a 120x120 " cotton bedspread i guess i can't complain too much, it has a really nice feel and big for coverage as i have a high bedframe and thin enough to fit in my washing machine, happy about that
