Perfect

I'm a licensed massage therapist and have had many hot stone heaters. This one, by far, is the best! It doesn't take up a lot of room, you can set the temperature to whatever you like and they heat up within minutes.

Thrilled

Bought this for home use. I was so suprised how quickly the heating plate warms. The stones are excellent thickness and hold heat well. The controller is very easy to use. There is some extra space for any other smaller items that could be heated at the same time. The handle seems sturdy, the locks are smooth and reliable. The box itself is smooth and elegant looking. The cord is two parts, the section that plugs into the wall and that section plugs into the control portion which then plugs into the box. The cord length is ample for putting on a table or needing a few feet of distance. This unit actually gets way to hot so it is important to research how how you really need it to be for use on skin. The rocks heat up fast and hold it well. I have been thrilled with this purchase so far. Hope this helps!

Excellent Quality and they work great!

I had been shopping around for a set of these stones because I have back problems. My wife is a naturopathic doctor and over the years she has used various therapies to help me out with my back. I wanted to try these because they seemed like as easy therapy that would alleviate my back issues from time to time. The first thing I noticed is that they are VERY high quality. The packaging is excellent and the wooden box they come in not only looks great, it is solid and will hold up. I read reviews about other stones and everybody seemed to complain about the quality of the stones and the box; not so with this set! I am very pleased with the high quality and have no doubt they will last many years. As far as how they work, they work great! My wife has used them on my back a few times and is actually thinking about buying another set (or using mine!) for therapy on some of her patients. I'm very pleased with the purchase and they certainly are great for what I need them for. Highly recommended!

Stress Relief!

Because of lower back issues, I have gone to a masseuse for years but it is getting way too expensive. I love when they use the heated stones so I decided to invest in one myself. Boy am I glad I did. Other than the stones, I also invested in some massage oil and watched some stone massage videos on YouTube. With my wife performing the massage with the stones I almost feel like I am at a professional masseuse. I love that there are different sized stones for different areas of my back and that I can adjust the temperature of the stones. Also, the kit comes in a great looking bamboo case that is light and easily can be brought with you on a trip or vacation. Overall, not only am I saving money but I am still getting a great massage. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this kit for body massage but also for stress relief.

I love this!!!

This is AWESOME!! It looks nice, the stones are smooth and fit in my hand easily and it heats up quickly. I love that the heating unit can be dialed in on temp and I don't need to fuss around with water! This will simplify a hot stone treatment, saving time, mess and making it easier for you to remain connected to your client. I also love that even when I have all 12 stones that come with this unit in the heating box, there is still plenty of room to add some of my other stones or tools that I would like heated up. If you enjoy doing hot stone treatments, this unit is perfect. It is one of the best investments I have found and the price is affordable. Ps...it is super easy to clean after use!!!

Easy to use, heats up fast, no Crock-Pot!!

I love these so much, you can set the temp, there's no water, clean up is easy, they heat up in like ten minutes and reheat in a minute or two during a hot stone. Love them

Janky, but effective

When this arrived the plug female part was pushed in. It took me an hour with tools (and almost breaking it) to get it out and the connection isn’t secure, so I almost returned it but decided to see if I could work with it. Well, aside from that issue it works great! My tips are: turn it on 30 minutes before the massage appointment and set it to 115. After I apply the stones I put a neck warmer in there and crank it to 160 so when my client flips it’s nice and toasty!

Brilliant solution for mobile hot stone massage

This is a brilliant solution for providing hot stone massage in client's homes - compact, easy to carry, no messing around with water (heating it, cleaning up, etc.) The stones heat up quickly; if you pre-heat them before leaving for the client's location it takes even less time when you get there. The primary reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is the size of the stones - the "large" stones are really just medium stones, not big enough for the larger muscle groups in some backs and legs. And the 8 stones are not enough to do a full-body massage, but there is plenty of space in the case to add more.

Great quality and price

Wonderful! My box was double packed and arrived in perfect condition! I tested it out right away and as promised the stones heat up in less than 10 minutes. The stones seem good quality too, they retain their heat and have a nice weight to them. I'd recommend this kit as it's perfect for a beginner or even experienced therapist when on the go!

Works great!

I finally got a chance to use it this weekend. I put in the stones that came with it, plus about 10 other stones I purchased separately. They heated up quickly (about 10 minutes) and I was able to give a great massage. If the stone i was using cooled down, I could swap them out with the others that were warming. Box is sturdy and attractive. Very happy with this purchase.
