don't buy this

I have made more than 30 pairs of pants in the last 25 years. This pattern doesn't work. The interfacing on the front panel shouldn't have elastic in it. The waist, although a pull up elastic waist can't accommodate the hips unless it has a zipper (not part of the design). The length is too short even for the small sizes. The legs are so baggy, baggier than the picture. The joining of the waistband to the pant is supposed to be done with raw ruffly edges where as it it very easy to press the inside to stitch later. I may re work the pattern now that the first pair of pants is made. I will put in some kind of button closure at the top to open it wider when pulling the hips into it. I will make the legs much slimmer. The pockets in the front are very nice. I used a rayon challis, and if I made them again with this fabric would use some kind of reinforcement on the outside.

Not my favorite pattern - didn't feel like result was what the pictures show but, it had very easy to follow directions
