Versatile and Also Well Sized for Shorter Users
I am petite and it is difficult to find a chair that is not too deep. Arm rests are also usually too widely set to be useful for me. This chair is really great for my size because of how versatile it is (I'm 5' tall, 100 pounds). - Arm rests are removable and adjustable. I remove the arm rests completely and instead use supports that connect to my desk so that they can sit closer to my body. - The size of the seat is not oversized and not too deep. I can sit all the way back on the seat and my back will touch the back rest. - The foot rest provides great support for my knees, so my feet aren't dangling. - Also love how high this raises. I have an adjustable desk and it has a large height range.

Good but weird
After six months of daily use, I can say the chair is mediocre at best. It's supportive and it spins. There are definitely some quirks. Like others have mentioned, the seat drops a little when you sit down so it's not a true 29" seat height. The footrest randomly slides down to the chair base; I'm careful not to put pressure on it (it's a rest, not a step) but every few days I find it has slid all the way down and it's a pain to raise it back up. All debris (snack crumbs, pet paw dirt, etc.) falls into the mesh fabric on the seat and gives it a dirty appearance. Would not purchase again.

So comfortable and perfect for my stand-up desk!
I am using this with my Ikea stand up desk which is adjustable so I can crank the desk down and lower the chair. Keep in mind that with a gas lift to adjust the height you need to take your weight off by popping up with feet on the silver ring/rail to raise it up or just get off the chair and raise it all the way up and then get in the chair and step it down to your preferred height. The chair does an awesome job of this. Resting your feet on the ring does require you to have more of a bend in your knees than 90 degrees so if this would bother your knees then this type of chair is not for you. My only problem assembling was a question of whether the armrests went narrow side to the front or to the back. I decided on narrow side to the back and it seems to be right. The seat cushion is awesomely comfortable and although before I purchased I was concerned with feeling the plastic supports on the back, the way this chair is designed none of that touches the mesh on the back. Also, the way the chair is aligned you can easily rest back in it instead of feeling like you are pitching forward (very important in a tall chair I think!). I feel that this chair goes plenty high enough for my stand up desk and it does seem to keep the maximum height but several things to consider if you are worried: Add on 2.5" rollerblade type: wheels: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DOTK18Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If your desk is not adjustable, you can try to use a keyboard drawer for when you are seated: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G4K8LB4/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07G4K8LB4&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=21517efd-b385-405b-a405-9a37af61b5b4&pd_rd_wg=prNyi&pf_rd_r=X7ZM50Y79GFT229WYHZQ&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=q4T3D&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=bd3ca468-decd-11e8-a3eb-4bcfbdd1f5dd Update 01/26/22: I am still extremely happy with this chair, especially after having to switch to much more working at home since the pandemic. I haven't had any breakage issues but maybe because I just use it to sit at a standing height desk; also, the chair and foot ring is even sturdy and stable enough for me to stand up on it so I can get myself up into the seat since I'm under 6' tall. My chair takes more agility to get into it since I added the rollerblade wheels and I'm on a hardwood floor, but so far it's great!

Exactly what I was looking for!
I have a sit/stand desk with a standard chair, then had a custom desk installed as an adjunct work area with the intent to swivel in my chair from one area to the other. However, due the height of the custom cabinets to accommodate files beneath my new desk, the surface is counter height. I researched many adjustable "drafting" height-to -standard desk height chairs, with adjustable arms, foot ring, style, cost, and decent ratings, and this one seemed to meet my criteria. Super-easy to assemble and so far, so great! For the money, it's fantastic! Clearly not the same quality and features as my employer-issued standard office chair, but I didn't want to invest a boatload of money sight unseen. This seems to be exactly what I was seeking! Time will tell with durability/ longevity as it will see daily use (I work from home). Very pleased.

Great chair for high desks
This is a well-designed, well-made chair, and assembly is simple and rapid. I conclude it is well worth the price. My only negative observation concerns the over-simplified one page instruction sheet, which illustrates pictorially how to assemble the chair. Curiously, not all the parts are identified by letters, and some small hardware parts, especially the washers, are hard to distinguish from each other. There were a very few assembly questions that would have been answered by simple verbal instructions, but the sheet provided obviously was meant for use by speakers of any language, obviating the expense of translation. Of the various similar Modway models, I chose this one for it's especially high rise of 31-1/2 in. Tis is a wee

Good for the money
For the price, this chair is not bad. Assembly was straightforward. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a more expensive chair, but it is half the price. I’m 5’10” and using it at a 38” desk. The major negative is that the right armrest will occasionally drop when I lean on it. This is a little frustrating and creates a lot of background noise when I’m on conference calls as it grinds through all of the detents on the way down. Also, the locking mechanism doesn’t seem to work. When I slide the handle into the lock position, I can still lean the seatback backwards.
