This valve is built well except for two things. the mounting bracket is offset and I had to build a separate bracket to mount it in my boat. The other is that the valve directions are not marked. You have to experiment with it to find which direction the fluid goes, And either mark it with something, or have a tremendous memory to figure how to turn on and/or off which tank.

Valve is fine, but works in mysterious ways...
The pointer makes no sense, in so far as where the flow goes. Like others say, it's the weirdest directional flow I've seen. only one way does the pointer point to actual flow when the handle is turned, the other way makes no sense in how it should flow. And you can't just move the handle on the stem to get it to work the way most expect. Just plan to re-route your lines and check for proper flow directions. Otherwise, it works.

Fuel line valves
I purchased this item to re-plumb some gas lines on a 4-passenger hovercraft to have two tanks. The original config had two tanks and simple "T"s, but with a fuel injected engine one tank would drain and the other tank would overfill with gas from the return line. The owner took out the Ts and was manually reconnecting the second tank if needed. This valve solves that problem nicely. You just switch from the primary tank to the second tank (two valves, supply and return). So far it is working quite nicely. This valve was an affordable solution.

Too much play in handle
The handle has too much play (about 1/8 turn). If you turn it one way and never turn it the opposite way then you're okay. However, if you turn it clockwise and then turn it counter-clockwise it will actually loosen the screw and then the handle will spin on the shaft. The handle to shaft connection should be splined to prevent this. Plus, a splined connection would allow for setting the pointer to any position which the current design does not allow. The current design allows only one position of the handle.

well worth the price. as expected for this price there is a minor inconvenience of having to write out a diagram for flow position. not a big deal IMO

Delivered as promissed
Part arrived on time and as advertised. I plan on plumbing this into my boats fuel system along with the Attwood universal male and female sprayless fuel connectors to make winterizing my fuel injected engines much easier and cleaner than in the past.
