More "water resistant", but still great

Tested them out on my hands in the bathtub first. I could feel the water but my hands/arms were dry. Only after I started spreading my fingers and stretching the material did a LITTLE moisture make its way through. But o figured it wasn't enough to return them, and when I wear them in water shoes I won't be stretching them that much. Tested them in the river today while kayaking. Waded out about a foot deep doing a normal portage in and out in a really cold river in about 38 degree air. The socks kept me totally dry. I deducted one star because they do absorb moisture and lose their warmth, and also that if you move a lot in the water some can get through, and also because they are actually pretty warm by themselves when dry. But I love them and recommend them to you.

Hard wearing and weatherproof, absolutely worth the money.

I'm an Ironworker in the Pacific Northwest of the US. It rains most days from September until about May. No boot holds water for long in my trade no matter how much you oil or wax it. I bought a single pair of these and wore them over my wool socks ten hours a day, five days a week for nearly three months before I accidentally melted them and they started to leak. That single pair kept my feet dry when I was otherwise soaked through. I've now bought two more pairs and I'll buy four more. If you live on your feet in the weather these socks are worth their weight in gold.

Dry Feet!

I bought these to keep my feet and lower legs dry! I have waded through swamps with nothing more that hiking boots and pants on and my feet/lower legs remained completely dry! Very impressed with them!

Watch the sizing

The socks are well made and probably will work well. I wear a size 10 womens shoe. So according to the amazon description, I wear a medium. Socks arrived. Too small. The sizing on the socks says a medium is 7-9. I'll be exchanging for a large.

100% legit

These are hands down the coolest socks EVER. Needed socks to fly fish in but not get my feet actually wet. Perfect my feet were totally dry and I was in the river for a good 48mins before I felt any temp change. Yes their expensive socks but these are worth the money

Not waterproof.

I am disappointed to write this review, but also surprised, considering the great feedback the product has gotten from others. I bought two pairs of socks from the get-go, presuming its waterproof claim to be a fact based on the reviews. This is sadly not the case. The first day I was using them, it didn't rain all that much. My mc boots did get wet inside, but the socks seemed to be able to hold the humidity outside of them. My feet were dry when I took the socks out in the evening. Second day, however, passing through the jungle and rivers but WITHOUT getting water above the rim of the socks (100% certain), they caved to the water that entered the boots. My feet were completely wet at the end of the day, and extremely cold as a result due to late night mountain riding. Would not buy again. Not worth the price, well, unless this was a defect to only happen in my case. Will go for goretex next time. I also know that KLIM has some waterproof socks with good reputation.

Great socks

I’m really happy with this socks. I wear them every working day as my job is pretty much be in the almost every day. I bought this sock in May 2020 and almost a year after they are still in very good condition even after been washed every week. They are so good that soon I will buy another pair definitely.

Highly recommend but expensive

Purchased for use on motorbike in wet conditions. They remained waterproof for the majority of the day but after a few hours water did start to seep through onto my feet. At that point the cold got in too but overall the socks performed well. Found the price point quite high - would have been happier paying around the £30 mark which I would have taken the review to 5 stars
