Worth the money. Order a size up.

I measured right around my forehead at 57cm, which would have been a medium. Taking the advice of other reviewers, I ordered a size up and am glad I did. Very snug fit which is what you want in the rain, but it's not too tight. The inside feels very warm, and I like the shape of the hat and how it keeps my ears covered. I was skeptical at first about a $50 hat but honestly, I see no reason why I won't be using this for years to come.

Nice hat

I bought a large and my head size is 71/4 it is a perfect fit . I haven't actually used it yet but it feels really warm . I'm happy with my new hat and so you will be to .

Took 24 days to arrive!

I guess the hat does what it is supposed to do, keep the head warm and dry, but it is overpriced and it took more than three weeks to arrive..no indication on order site that it is coming from the UK! Missed christmas of course..I ordered it on Dec6 and it arrived on dec 23

Lightweight But Warm

The Sealskinz cap is thin, smallish but big on warmth. It does not look to be capable of keeping you warm but it does. This cap is easy to pack, easy to transport, and easy to misjudge. It cost a little more but it delivers in cool - cold weather. I have used in the twenties and it kept we warm. I’ll try it in the teens and below and get back to you.

Warm!

I bought this for sailing in the San Juan Islands; I currently live in the SF Bay Area which does not get as cold. I've been out twice on the bay on our catamaran, in fairly cold weather, and this cap worked wonders. It has just enough of a bill to cut direct sunlight, and the earflaps cover my ears well. The back is long and elasticized, too, so it hugs my head and helps warm my neck.

Great winter hat

I needed a hat for riding my mountain bike in the winter. This one is warm and stays put on the head. The ear flaps fit well and are warm. I found out that it is waterproof after getting caught miles from my truck in the rain at 39 degrees. The sizing does run small and I took the advice of reviewers and the company on their UK website and ordered one size larger. Don't fret if it's a little big as there is an adjustment strap on the back. I am happy to have found a product that performed as promised. It's a bit pricier than other hats, but so worth it.

Not capable of handling extreme cold

It arrived early and is pretty good quality but the warmth is highly oversold. This hat would be fine when the temps are in the 20's F but not lower than that. I was hoping for something that could handle sub zero. It is waterproof which is nice.

All that & more

Best hat for our SE Alaskan adventure. Kept us dry in the rain, warm in the wind and cold, and the adjustable snug but comfortable fit was ideal while hiking, climbing, and paddling.

My new go to hat

This hat was chosen for its adaptiveness by a keen walker. It is portable and folds/stashes into my bag and has protected my head and ears across many a windy field without blowing away. Very comfortable. As a lady wearer with long hair I am very impressed with the fit. I would highly recommend this hat. My measurements were correct. I will be buying another as my husband has borrowed it too many times now. It never looks crushed out of my bag but stylish and well made. Highly recommended by both of us!!

Mai piu' senza - Semplicemente perfetto

Dopo due inverni di utilizzo posso affermare con certezza che questo cappellino e' insuperabile. Resistente alla pioggia, al vento freddo delle notti invernali in altomare, caldo, ma assolutamente traspirante. Non parto mai senza averlo in testa. I para orecchie tengono veramente al caldo anche quando il vento forte cerca di infilarsi ovunque. La taglia e' perfetta, deve cazare esatto per dare il meglio delle proprie caratteristiche. Consigliato a chi naviga seriamente anche nella stagione fredda o che naviga vicino ai fronti per avere tanto vento.

Looks good quality only be careful I always have problems with cap sizes, I only have a small head and nearly ordered the small one then thought better and ordered the medium thank goodness, the medium fits like a glove, might be to tight for some
