Great socks for winter running

I run trails through the winter and regular socks just don't cut it in temps below freezing. I had a pair of ultrathin Sealskinz sock liners before, but lost them. I bought the medium weight, ankle height version in a size large. It perfectly fit my size 10E foot. Unlike my regular socks, the Sealskinz don't wrinkle when I slide my foot into a snug-fitting pair of Asics trail running shoes. My feet were warm at 24 degrees even though my shoes have a mesh toebox. Another plus is the socks are made in the UK! I highly recommend the Sealskinz for anyone who runs in the winter.

Great sock

Great sock. I assume that this is a discontinued colour so the seller took full advantage of this and the price was very high compared to buying directly from Sealskinz.

Weird fit

First off, this is a very well-made product. I'm returning it, so I don't know if it is water-proof or durable. I'm returning it because of the weird fit. The toe area just isn't shaped for the normal human foot. It's pointed, meaning you'd need a short big toe and a long second toe for this to be comfortable. Or maybe if your feet are pointy from a lifetime of cowboy boots...or you have cloven hoofs. And the material is too tight to stretch to fit your shape. If your feet aren't that shape, the sock will not fit. Since most everyone seems to have no complaint about the fit, I'm guessing a lot of people are used to having their toes pinched into a point, since a lot of shoes are made that way. My toes just sit straight and normal, and they do not like being squeezed into a point. My friend who likes these socks has the pointy feet--his big toe leans sharply toward the second toe, instead of pointing straight ahead. And there is no spacing between his toes--they are mushed together like frozen shrimp. He wears pointy church/office shoes a lot. The similar Shower Pass socks have the same pointy toe problem AND are also way too tight. If you're a normal human, go with the Dexshell socks.

I work for UPS and wet feet can really make your day miserable. These socks are a game changer and are worth the money.

Comfy walking socks

I had a pair bought as a gift, having worn them I bought another pair ! They are so comfortable, having worn them during the winter months I can state they are waterproof, warm and breathable. Very satisfied and grateful that I received them in the first place.

Kept my feet warm and dry when on the golf course

So far really pleased with this purchase. Worn the socks quite a lot when playing golf and surprised at how well they keep my feet warm and dry. Only wish that I had bought a pair that were above ankle length but otherwise happy with my purchase.

Instantly brave.

Washing instructions woven on the inside of the "cuff" (?) part, touch of class. Excellent fit, comfortable and plenty of of product information offered by the manufacturer. Very well thought out and put together. Looking forward to wandering around the city extra smug this winter. Highly recommended. I will be looking to invest further in Sealskinz gear based on these socks and the attitude of Sealskinz.
