Seachem Frest Trace
I can't really say I notice a difference in my fish. I feed New Life Spectrum, so their color is already really good, so if their colors increase due to additions into the water, I didn't notice. I don't use RO water with this, I use regular treated tap water, so the need is less than if I were using RO water. But it does seem to be a good product to use. Might be a good way to help insure the health of your fish. Especially if you're already dosing fertilizers or other products anyway. One more capful isn't hard. I wouldn't recommend dumping chemicals into your tank at random, however this is a collection of trace elements, and not a chemical product like pH Up or pH Down. Most of Seachem's products are top-notch, and I would trust this to help the overall health of the tank. I am a little worried about dosing this in a tank with inverts, however. Lots of people claim that any copper is harmful to inverts, but copper is a necessary element to most living things, inverts included. Seachem assures that the amount in their products (Flourish, Flourish Tabs, and this one) is too low to have any impact on inverts. But when using all three products, and using fish food which contains copper (almost all of them) I worry that the total amount would reach harmful levels. Maybe the total amount isn't anywhere near harmful. But I wouldn't dose this in a tank with inverts if you use the other three products. The amount in the food might supply them with the trace amounts that they need, but past one additional product I start to worry.

My Fiddlers Molted - That Means Good
I got this so my Three Fiddler Crabs would have all the nutrients and metals they need in their water to be healthy and happy and yes, the ability to Molt when needed. I was not sure if it was working but then, after using it for about a month and change, my Largest Fiddler just Tossed His Old Shell. AND, His New Duds are Hardening as Expected and he has Grown just a bit. All this means that this Product Does What it is Supposed To. But then, Sea Chem has a Great Reputation for A Reason. This Product Contains ALL the Trace Elements any Freshwater Aquarium Needs. I use it as Directed - It Works.

Peace of mind more than anything
I just have 16 Cardinals, a half dozen Juliis and some Nerite snails. All three are hearty species to begin with. The water we get in this area isn't very mineral heavy so this seemed like a necessary get. I've used this stuff for awgile and the fish seem content. Just like human vitamins, it may not matter that much but it's better than nothing. I'm more just using it for peace of mind. Good source of calcium for the snails too.

Not sure if COLOR is correct
This is the very first time we've purchased this product (but not first Seachem product we use regularly). The cap seal and the liquid is BLACK. But I can't get a response from anyone if this is "normal" (aka safe) or not. It does NOT look like something I would want to put in my tank atm.

A must for Ozone treated water!
My tap water is Ozone treated which means its stripped of almost everything my AC's need, with that being said I can honestly say that not only do I notice a difference with my Africans but they notice too. When I add this to my tank, they all pause and look around like "what was that" and start swimming around like Energizer bunnies.

Freshwater tank with plants love it.
I use RODI water and my fish were dying, because of the nutrients were totally taken out of the water. I've been using Seachem Fresh Trace Elements with Seachem Equilibium. Now my tank after 2 wks has been doing absolutely great!

Arrived damaged
I think all Seachem products are great and the staff very friendly and helpful. My objection is that on arrival the seal had been broken. It looks like a finger nail has made a whole in it. It looks like it has been like that for sometime as the cardboard disc in the cap has gone moldy. I didn't return it, as I decided to take the hit. I think the fish seem fine.

Reverse osmosis water and this stuff and the fish swim faster, look shinyer and seem helther.

Wouldn't use RO water without it
We use Fresh Trace to add to our fry tanks, added to RO water along with Equilibrium, Neutral Regulator and Prime. Seachem products are almost always our first choice, and Fresh Trace is no exception. We also add it to our established aquariums occasionally even using tap water, it benefits both the fish and the plants within.
