Makes having a secure door with easy access without a key

No more fumbling in my purse to unlock my door with a key. I can lock myself out and just push 4 numbers to unlock the door. Super handy feature when I am out in the yard gardening. Love it!

This Schlage lock is as advertised...it's great.

This lock deserves a rating of 5 of 5. It'\s a great lock. It's easy to install. I replaced a conventional front-door keyed, handle door lock. It's definitely sturdy and highly secure. It's rated at ANSI Level 2. A Level/Grade #1 is the highest security grade and is usually found on commercial properties. An ANSI Level #3 is the lowest/basic level door lock, and these locks are usually placed on residential doors. It's unexpectedly simple to select and use a new, private 4-digit combination.

Not reliable

Don’t buy this lock! In fact don’t buy any lock that does not have a key future as a back up. I bought this lock and it failed, locking me out of the house with no other way to open it, given that it does not have a key. This required me to hire a locksmith to Get into an alternate door of the house, at my expense! It was a real pain. And all because my Schlage Lock failed. While I like the key code entry feature, I will definitely replace it with one that has a key as a back up.

Good replacement for non-deadbolt passageway set

This lock is NOT bluetooth and not a deadbolt. Programming on the keypad itself is very simple. To unlock for entry, use the keypad and the lever will allow entry for moment, then deactivate (Latch is NOT motorized like a deadbolt). To unlock "for the day", use the thumbturn on the inside (exiting always allowed when thumbturn is locked). Stubs on the face of the keypad also accommodate temporary power in case the 9V battery dies before you get a change to replace it

Stunning and so practical!

We are so happy with this purchase! It is installed on the front door of a vacation rental and we love that we can program so many codes at once and delete them when guests leave. In addition to this, you can program in a code that temporarily disables all of the programmed codes, so between guests, we can just disable it without changing any codes. Both the look and quality of this Lock/Lever are exceptional. We installed it in August of 2017, change the codes continually, and have no complaints!

Good quality, built to last.

It was the replacement of the handle with key lock for a garage. Installation was a walk in the park. Setting up new code was straightforward. I am satisfied with the build quality and sturdiness of the product. Best of all, I do not need to carry any key nor worry about losing a key! The emergency battery terminal is a smart idea, thanks!

Great lock, very discreet

Great lock, very discreet, perfect for my youngest since he started school and no need to carry with him any house key, very robust grade 2. I have use other kind of these from the same mfr. One must make sure drilling the hole for the lock has to be a perfect straight otherwise, it wont fit, and your lock will not work correctly.

We bought 6 units 4 out of 6 failed within a week of use. Do not use these these in cold weather..

These will fail in cold weather leaving you with no way to enter your house. Not recommended..
