Makes watery salsa

Bought this to fit my grandmother-in-law's victorio strainer she passed down to me. Perfect fit and easy to use. It ended up crushing my tomatoes and my salsa turned out very watery. It also let small pieces of tomato skin through. I'm returning this and will go back to blanching and peeling the old school way. ** I did buy the berry strainer version and that one worked great. You do have to run strawberries through multiple passes to get more of the pulp. I think we did 5 passes total. That one I will be keeping.

It fit our old Victorio

It works just fine, and it's a great new screen. BUT the output is still too fine for my kind of pico de gallo. Just mushes too much. The real beauty? It removed skins, real easy.

I already use the smaller size strainer that my Victorio came with. I was eager to see what the salsa screen would do. I found one of the main reasons I liked the salsa screen is that the tomatoes went through much more quickly. It's like the machine didn't have to work so hard the push the food through. It is also easier to clean than the small size one, which I use a toothbrush on. I wouldn't use this on plain tomato juice, it is too chunky; but it would be good to use on tomatoes besides salsa if you were then using the juice for a soup base.

Salsa Screen is Perfect!!!

Product arrived within days. It fits on the Norpro Sauce Master perfectly. So happy that I found this attachment!! Can't wait to make some salsa!

Great product, harder to clean

This made homemade salsa so much easier! Only dislike is how difficult it is to get all the food out of the seam. I will keep using it several times per year though! Great for canning crushed tomatoes too!

Received the salsa screen with no problem and when they said it would be.
