Sturdy!

This item is very well made and sturdy! It does not look cheap, it adds class to our game room. We've had several compliments already over the holidays. Great item for the price.

Upside down construction

The screen itself is what I wanted. One post however was soldered in upside down. Kind of a bummer.

Well Made Fireplace Screen

Attractive , sturdy and well made fireplace screen. I bought it to replace a very old screen that was rickety and falling apart, and I'm very pleased with the quality and modern look of this new fireplace screen!

Beautiful but rusted

This was a beautiful replacement for the old one on our fireplace. It's very sturdy and looks great, especially for the price. My only complaint is that it arrived with multiple rust spots on it

BEST FOR THE MONEY

We're redoing our FP's by removing the old fashioned glass doors and brought in a screen instead. We're also building box mantles not yet finished here, but we're excited that everything's coming along. These screens were the perfect height and width for both fireplaces that are different widths. The outside mesh panels can sit more open or closed and we're able to adjust to both very nicely. They're sturdy and well made. Packaging was good with no problems.

This gate is useful for more than just fireplaces

I originally purchased this gate because, even though there is a mesh screen over my fireplace, my cats still managed to push it out of the way. At least twice I found one of my cats inside the fireplace while it was on! Just turning my back for a second and she would be inside! I was scared she would hurt herself. This gate is wonderful for keeping her away. And it looks great in front of the fireplace. Even during the summer, when I'm not using the fireplace, I've used this gate to keep the cats out of other places. One time I was painting my kitchen and wanted to keep the cats upstairs but not locked up in a single room. I just put the gate on the stairs while I painted and it kept them all away. This gate has been incredibly useful all year round.

Great!

Love this product! It looks great, it creates a visual and a physical barrier for the dangerous glass. Its is heavy enough to not be flimsy. My toddler already knows not to come close to the fireplace but we were always afraid of an accidental fall or a guest coming too close etc.

Fireplace screen

Good construction, heavy guage metal, Sturdy. We use it as a guard to keep our granddaughter away from free standing fireplace.
