Lasted about 20 months
I used these as my work shoes at a job where I can walk as many as six miles in a day (but average about 2), and these lasted me a little while. I think it was 20 months or so before I started noticing water getting in and started contemplating replacing them. As for comfort... they're not bad. But wearing comfy socks and finding a decent insole definitely go a long way when you stand and walk all day! These boots do not replace proper sock and insole selection.

Very good budget boot with a couple flaws
I'm an avid trail runner, putting in a 10-15 mile trail run at least once a week. First the good: The comfort is unmatched. Disregarding price, this is perhaps the most comfortable boot I've ever worn for hiking or walking. Extremely lightweight, the fit and cushioning is outstanding. The waterproofing is not perfect, but it is solid. In a prolonged downpour/wet, muddy terrain the boot is porous enough to let some moisture in after a couple hours, but very impressive for a 60-70 dollar boot. The not-so-good: The insole is glued into the boot. That's right. There's no simple removing and replacing and as comfortable as the factory insoles are, they are no match for truly heavy use. The fabric gives way after a couple months and exposes the foam. With some simple clothing tape, you can relay the fabric, but that'll only buy you a few more months and this is coming from a guy who only uses these boots exclusively on a 15 miler, once a week. There are some breathability issues as well. Not terrible, but not good, and after a few hours of uses, rain or shine, it doesn't let moisture out super well. Oh, and there's the outer sole too, not very durable. Expect it to get worn down pretty good after 6 months with only moderate use. In summation a very, very good budget boot. In terms of comfort and ergonomics, it's hard to beat at any price range. It's just not built for truly heavy use.

Just what I wanted and expected.
I received these today, put them on right out of the box, and went Christmas shopping. That's one way to break in a new pair of leather boots! These were comfortable right away, courtesy of the nice insole with a gel center. I always wear gel inserts with boots and most shoes. Not necessary here, it's built in. Now, of course they are a little stiff at first, just like any other new pair of leather footwear. But, as you can see from the photo, they are already starting to form around my ankle bone so they will provide support without rubbing. Waterproof? Unquestionably. That much is obvious from how they are designed and built. The tongue is secured to the inside up to where the bottom of the "Waterproof" shiny emblem is. That's how deep a puddle you can stand in without worry of wet feet. If you need more, invest in a pair of hip-waders. I live in Texas on 30 acres of mostly marshland and, of course, we get the annual hurricanes and floods. I'm not worried about that now. Plus, they look good enough that with a little polish and shine, I can wear them to the office. Today rained pretty good and everywhere I went indoors had wet floors and stone, marble or polished concrete underfoot. Any new shoe soles need to be abraded a bit to wear off the slippery new factory finish. I did this by walking from the parking lot to the mall and had no slipping at all once inside. I wear a size 8.5W, ordered a size 8.5M, and they fit perfectly. I took a chance on the "Relaxed Fit" and it paid off. They are insulated enough for Texas winters (only 30F or so) and I don't think it's too much for summer (100F +), but I'll let ya'll know. Verdict: A good, comfortable pair of boots that shrug off weather and don't cost a car payment. Cons: If I find one, I'll revise my review and let ya'll know.

Dem Shoe Laces Tho!
I always have issues finding shoes/boots that fit me correctly. I have to wear military style boots for work, i saw that these once you lower your pant legs on them look military style enough so I bought them. First day and second day on the job, I thought my feet were going to come out sliced up because these boots just cut into my feet and omg they hurt so bad. 3rd day they fit perfectly :) Guess they just needed to get shaped to my feet? They’re on my feet now and I use them every day for work since I’ve bought them a few months ago. Very comfortable! I did need to learn how to tie shoelaces a different way so they could stay tied. Why? Because the shoelaces are so thick that they’ll get undone very very very fast as in less than 20 minutes if you do a lazy job on them. I once tied them and took a few steps and i looked down just as they were becoming untied. It was the strangest thing. Once i didn’t do a lazy job on them, they stopped becoming undone. I like that the shoelaces are so thicc. Thanks to them being thick I can be aggressive and just super tie my boots are tight as i want them. Boots can take that sorta beating, so yeah 5/5

Recommend these boots 1,000%!!
I’ve always been a lover of Sketcher shoes but I wasn’t sure on Sketcher boots but I desperately needed some new hiking shoes and I could not pass these up from both the specs and the price. I’m very glad I decided to get these. They are super comfortable. I though they’d be hard to walk in when I first opened the box because they looked bulkier than I expected but they are PERFECT. They didn’t even need to be broken in, it feels like it already knew my feet. I’ve been wearing them in the snow all day and my feet are warm and dry. These are very slip-resistant, as well. I've purposely TRIED to slip and they didn’t budge. The only con I found with these is the strings. You have to make sure you do a pretty intricate knot when you tie them, as they come undone pretty easy on their own. It’s probably because of the material. It feels like the strings are waterproof material, which is great, so I see it as an opportunity to practice knots! Would recommend these boots for hikers 100%. If you work in a place with slippery or wet floors that do not require steel toe, these are your best shot.

500km and still waterproof !!!
I have had these boots over 1.5 years and put on over 500km and they are the first pair of many I have had over the years than are still waterproof. Most have relied on an expensive breathable membrane inner boot which fails in days to weeks, these rely on simply sealed exterior seams and a bonded sole, it works and keeps working. I was worried about these boots being excessively hot and sweaty this has not been a problem maybe because I bought these to use only as a winter boot and brought them 1/2 a size larger than usual to accommodate thicker than usual socks. About the only negative is that for some reasons the insoles are glued in place making basic hygiene very hard unless your willing to rip them out and risk damaging them. At the $120 I paid for them excellent value, at $200+ I would be taking a serious look at the competition although I still might come back to these, it's hard to put a price on dry feet after a day in wet bush.

poor fit
very tight on instep of one foot , have never had this issue on other footwear so suspect it is the boot and will return to shipper if I can find the box

Comfy but warm
I bought these as motorcycle boots and they are SUPER comfy, sturdy but not too stiff (so I don't walk like a penguin to and from my bike lol). Real leather and super waterproof, they are also quite warm. Not a huge deal to me as I prefer safety and protection to having cool feet, but I could have handled a lighter boot. They look great, simple but kinda like a police boot. Super happy with them!
