So LONG!

I really want to love these shoes as I've run in nothing other than salomons for ten years and wanted to try a different style. They are huge! I even sized down a half size based on reviews and have not only a good 1.5 cms at my toe, but a gap in the back. The middle fits well with the snug lacing. They are comfy in the sole and heel. They do make a weird click where the toe box bends to meet the middle but maybe that's due to the off sizing. I adore the color. Frustrated, but reordering a full 1.5 sizes down from my normal cause I really want these to work. ????

Comfy and cute!

I love the color!! They were very comfortable right away. I did size half a size down as I knew this style runs about a half size big. I hiked 7 miles the first time and didn’t need to break them in prior! The extra tread and grip is great for up and down hill!

Terrible quality --not the Salomon I'm used to

Really poor quality materials. Shoes literally feel like plastic. The shoe fasteners are also extremely poor quality. They're so bad, I actually wonder if they are counterfeit.

La talla no corresponde a los centímetros del pie

Talla inadecuada , decía que para 25 cm de medida del pie esa es la talla y no es cierto , tiene más de 3 cm adicionales , nunca me había pasado y es demasiado grande , tengo Nike , new balance y otros pero la talla se me adapta bien a los centímetros de longitud , este no , imposible de usar y esa devolución es demasiado costosa

Awkward tongue/ankle fit

Was excited and hopeful to replace my original Salomons from 2015 that have been well loved. Love this pair's purple color and the tread was excellent. More than running a little big (as others mention), the tongue and tie situation on this pair was weird and by far my biggest hangup. Tongue is shorter than I'm used to and stiffly angled so the edge sticks into the front of my ankle vs fanning up in front of it. Which, even when not uncomfortable per say, still feels weird. Also, because of the shortened tongue length, the trademark storage pouch for the lace/cord is pinched under a tightened tie. I had to really yank at the tongue to get the opening of the pouch to sit barely above the top tie line, allowing me to store the lace/cord in the pouch. It was a bit of a hassle and took the ease out of a beloved Salomon feature. Also, the anterior front end of the shoe made a crinkly/popish noise when bent (such as with the natural flex of the shoe when running). These were too much of an awkward fit to drop $90 (and that's on sale from $120!). Will have to send these back and continue the search...

Excellent

I have had numerous pairs of Salomon trainers/walking shoes over the last few years and these are the most comfortable so far. Light weight, sturdy perfect fit . True to size. Used as a walking shoe not for running but good on rough terrain.

Very light, great grip - go half a size up

First things first you should go half a size up when ordering these shoes. The shoes will fit at the normal size but you will find them tight and you will really appreciate that extra half a size. I know this because I have more than one pair of Saloman The grip on these shoes is impressive and they can be used as much for trail running as they can for climbing and scrambling. A super all round, all-purpose light trainer that you will want to keep on your feet for good. These look amazing too... really really amazing.

Comfortable and anti-slip shoes

I was not sure about the colour of this running shoes because I wanted to wear them as daily walking shoes and found it hard to match the colours of my clothes. Last Saturday, I needed to walk to the library which would take about 30 minutes for a single journey and decided to try if this pairs of shoes would do a good job as walking shoes. The moment I put them on and stood up walking around the house, I had confidence in them because they were fit and comfortable. The size is accurate. The shoe lace is no fuss and easy to adjust. The insoles are well cushioned and supportive. The soles are lightweight and antislip. I was on this shoes for an hours walk and could not stop praising how comfortable it was. Absolutely love it and highly recommended it!

Great trail shoes

I got these for my partner, more for walking than running, and she is really pleased with them. The sizing is spot on, very comfortable fit with lots of support, and as you would expect from a respected outdoor brand they are very well made. Very good grip due to the rubber moulded soles, and very light. They come with a quick lace system which is great. Not had them long but so far have stood up to some wet walking conditions being easy to clean and quick drying.
