Not waterproof *

I bought these because it said they were waterproof and a wide size. I liked the fit and everything else about them but they are not waterproof at all. In fact, I am not sure I would label them as water resistant more than any other average shoe. The moment water gets on them or stepping in a minimal amount of water, the water gets in through the mesh easily.

Perfect, supportive boots

I don't think it says it in the description, but these are wide, which is what I wanted. They are comfortable and supportive.

Shoe will break down in less than a year.

Shoes were worn very little, no long hikes or anything. Laces are kind of worn on 1 shoe within less than a year. Not the best, just expected better from Columbia. Ill stick with Keen and Merrells.

Lightweight and ready to go..

After reading all the reviews, I went ahead and got a half size larger than normal...they ended up being way to big. I sized down to a 6.5 and they are better, still run a tiny bit large in my opinion. So, they are good hikers, lightweight and comfortable. I have put lots of miles on em so far and will continue to do so!!

Good one, but not the waterproof version

It's a good hiking shoes. Note this is not the waterproof version. The description is misleading. (-1 star)

Great buy

I love these hiking shoes. I drive for a living and walk around 10 miles a day. I bought them in boot style last time. The held up for 6 months which is amazing for at least 40 miles a week. Definitely worth the money. They fit true to size. Wife’s review

They're decent. Nice looking. Not very supportive. Insoles awful.

I guess I expected better coming from Columbia. They're nice looking. Wide means WIDE!! order true to size. Do not size up for socks!! The comfort and support when compared to my old HiTec hiking shoe just isn't there. For lack of better words they feel soft and sloppy. A better insole is an absolute must. Probably should have bought the cheaper, HiTec brand again.

Use for everyday work.

My wife stand and walk the whole day at work. This pair of shoes provide excellent support and prevent calf muscle pain. Have since bought another pair for standby.

Not wide enough

I bought 3 pairs of 7.5 W shoes recently. The Columbia one is the red one. The shoes seem well made, but not wide enough to feel comfortable. Unfortunately returning them.
