What's the shape of your foot?
This would be a 5 Star review, but I'm giving it a 4 for two reasons. Like others have said, the actual size is a bit smaller. I wear a size 10 or 10.5. I changed my order size from 12 to 11. I should have stayed with 12. This lead to the second point, depending on the shape of your foot. This shoe is design for someone with toes running flat across like "Orient" style (see photo). I'm "Egyptian" style where my last three toes slants down. So at size 11, the overall fit is tight, but there's too much room for the last three toes for me. If I gotten size 12, then my last three toes would slip out of the "3rd toe" on the shoe (hope this make sense.) With that said, because of the shape of the shoes, 11 is working for me. I don't plan to wear them for 8 hours in a day standing up, so the tight fit is ok. Maybe 11.5 would be perfect, but they don't offer in half sizes.

Sweet for my feet!
Love these water shoes! I would/should def buy again. I bought these for a trip to an amusement/outdoor water park trip where the concrete is known to be a scorcher and am planning to use them on canoe trips as well. I do think they run a bit big. I read other reviews and thought people said they run small. Depending on the shoe brand I'm usually a 10.5 (male) but some brand 11. I bought an 11and they were Def too big. As I was running out of time before my trip, I ordered a 10 and had them shipped to the campground. I was ecstatic once I got the proper size on! That's the only downside... Getting them on. I had also read this in other reviews... That it takes a slight struggle to get them on, so I was prepared, but they weren't lying. I'm hoping the snug fit around the ankle works well on river walks to keep the pebbles out. I'll find that out soon. Once on though they were a great fit and drain water well. I also ended up selling the larger pair to my buddy who was on the water park trip with us. I laughed at his struggle in the 95 degree Temps as he sweated and fought to get them on. But he agreed once they were on, they are sweet!

Excited about getting these in the outdoors!
I bought these for an upcoming trip to the beach, but for now I'll have to settle for wearing them around the house. I normally wear an 11.5 WIDE, and have on occasion had the need to go to a size 12 WIDE, depending on the brand shoe or boot I wear, but these DO NOT come in half-sizes, nor in a WIDE version. Having read numerous reviews (good and questionable), and utilizing the sizing chart on this site and other sites, I was a bit skeptical as to whether or not this item would fit me well. I ended up ordering a size 12, and they seem to fit very nicely. The overall length is pretty good, with just a slight hint of extra room in the toes (maybe 1/8" - 3/16") left over at the tips. So, I would have to say that they probably fit true to size. I have worn them for approximately 4-5 days, and so far they feel great! Some folks complained about how hard it was to put them on, but I've had no problem with that. It does feel a bit odd at first, having your second toe (next to your big toe) going into its own pocket, but after 5-10 minutes you don't even think about it. Based on what I know thus far, I would highly recommend these!

Nice product quality, challenge with the overall design.
Construction of the shoe is fine. Looks well put together, the toe slots fit ok, and the heal/ankle area were sewn to avoid any rough edges. However, the lack of half sizes means the show is either snug or you’re swimming in it. Additionally, the design around too of the foot was way too tight for the size as compared to other brand water shoes. Had to work at getting my feet in.

Snug fit, good grip.
My third pair of shoes attempting to find some good pool-workout shoes. I think these will do until they wear out. The Pros: Drain water well, very grippy soles, comfortable walking about in them. The Cons: Run a tad small. Very hard to put on due to the size. I have wide feet, so it's often hard to find a proper fit as every manufacturer is different. The opening for your foot is small, and the fabric across the top does not give very much, so it takes a good bit of effort to get them on, but, once they're on they fit almost perfectly (one might even say like a glove). Once my foot is in, there is enough room for my toes, and the overall feel is snug but not so restrictive that it is uncomfortable. They do stay on throughout my pool exercise routine, including swimming and jogging in the pool, and the soles are grippy enough that I do not slide on the deck (wet or dry), the locker room floor, or inside the pool itself.

Worst water shoe ever.
This seemed like a neat water shoe. Figured the individual toes and minimalist yet rugged sole would work well. Was very disappointed on so many levels with these. First off the fit was terrible. Big toe and the one right next to it were tough to get in and out of the shoe wet or dry. The toe box that the rest of the toes went into was to large and oddly shaped so your foot did not plant correctly when walking. Looking at the shoes design with the drainage holes and the screen I thought that sand would not get in the shoes. I was very wrong. Within minutes of wearing these on the beach I had sand, and small rocks all through out the shoe. Also the spandex that the entire shoe except for the sole is made of offers little protection from rocks or sticks if you venture off the beaten path. Without exageration this is the worst water shoe I have ever purchased. Brought these on a trip to Hawaii and after the first short miserable experience with them I was forced to buy a replacement or go without for the trip. The cheap $20 pair that I picked up performed far better than these. Poor design, poor execution, there is no way they put these through any real world testing as they literally filled with sand in seconds. Whats the point of water shoes if they fill with sand and rocks the moment you step on the beach?

Had to order one size up
I wear a size 12 in most shoes. I ordered a size 12 and they didn't fit. Ordered a size 13 and they fit good. I like them.

Love these!!!!
I'm a five fingers fan but I have to tell you these blow away five fingers when comparing their water shoes. I am a sea kayaker and use these for sea kayaking and they are the hands down best kayaking shoes I have owned!!! They fit my wide feet great, dry off pretty fast in the arizona heat, and best of all have drain holes in the bottom with a mesh screen that keeps out big rocks. Absolutely love these shoes!!!!

It ok but...
The hole that you put your feet is a bit to tight and become painfull. The fit inside the shoes is good for a 13 but the top make it unberable sadly. Might be different on smaller size.

Like a glovem but for the feet
I got these to replace my deceased fila barefoots, I had for 10 years. Yesterday I put them on, we went to Costco, 1 hour from our house, walked every isle and shopped, then went to DSW, walk around every isle, then went to SuperKing Supermarket, did a complete shopping, then 1 more hour home, removed shoes, feet felt fantastic, no red spots, no calluses, and feet were so soft. My filas were US 11 so I got these the same, fit perfectly, but comfortably tight. I will be ordering more.

These are best for men with wide feet
Excellent fit if you have a wide foot. Toes slip easily in the shoe. Performance in water is excellent. Very comfortable.
