Bought used!
I use this for my 3 dachshunds! I had plastic ones and they hated them. I bought this product used and it is basically brand new! Love love it! ❤️ The puppies thank you!

Just not made for large dogs
I have a 13 year-old 75lb pit bull who is struggling with getting up and down from the bed now. He has arthritis and is just an old man at this point so I was trying to find some stairs we could try. This is the 2nd set of stairs I tried after extensive research from multiple sources on the subject, but unfortunately no matter what they say the weight limit is or how wide the steps are, pet stairs are just not made for large dogs. Especially large dogs who like to do things their own way and aren't super receptive to trying something new. He's just too big and bulky to walk back down them and would only sort of walk up them when guided with a treat. I ended up returning them and giving up on the stair option. Not related to this product, but for the benefit of other large dog parents in the same boat, I'll share that I ended up deciding to use high end CBD oil for him which actually has improved his mobility a lot and he's not struggling as much with the jumping. We also just try to pick him up or help him down whenever possible to minimize the impact on his body. Good luck to you all, the struggle is real!

65 pound dog approved
My lab mix suddenly didn’t want to jump on the bed but she loves cuddles. I want her to be gentle on her hips so I thought this was worth a try. It took a little training to get her to trust it. It a light weight foam material so I hold them steady for her. But they get the job done! She will climb her way on and off the bed. I’ve even used them next to my car so she doesn’t have to jump in there either. I wish they were more solid/ weighed down because they are easily pushed aside; like I said I usually put a hand on the steps to keep them steady and in place. But they are also better than trying to lift a dog or risking her jumping and hurting herself.

Cute but shallow steps. Only for kittens or short bodied small dogs.
Very cute and lightweight but the steps are very shallow. I knew they were too small for my dogs but thought it would work for my cats. Nope! Cats have long backs and don't want to double up their body to use steps.

Great item - fashionable and functional
This Portable Pet Stair is awesome. I was concerned about finding a solution that was not horribly ugly, and was happy to see this cute one. Also thrilled with functionality now that I have it at home. It is made from some kind of foam covered with fabric. My dog is very small, but I'm sure it would work fine with much heavier dogs as well. My little 4 lb. teacup poodle is twelve, and while she remains physically fit, she has a cataract in one eye, which has made her insecure about jumping up onto the bed - especially at night after she returns from a quick trip out her dog door for a nighttime pee. I was not thrilled about waking up night after night to the sound of her pathetically trying to claw herself up the foot board in repeated attempts to jump back up onto the bed...I eventually have to call her over to my side of the bed and pick her up myself. This portable pet stairs solves the problem for both of us. She is usually nervous around new things, but I only had to show her once how to use the new stairs - she is sooo happy to be able to get into the bed easily again. It is not a large item, but my bedroom is very small, and I was worried about where to put it because I did not have room for it at the foot of the bed. The only place it would fit was up against one of the night stands, and she has turn on the top step and take another little hop up onto the bed, but she figured it out on the first try - no problem.

Not a sturdy ramp for an older pet
Got it for a puppy so maybe it’s my fault. He drags it around and pulls on fabric. So I have to put it up during the day. We have hardwood floors only so this thing also slides around when he climbs on the bed. He is young and flexible but fell off few times. I don’t see how an older pet with back issues could use it safely. My boy is only 12 lbs now and the steps cave under his feet. It’s more of a big plush toy for him than useful items. Again we have a puppy and he almost figured out how to get on the bed and couch on his own plus he is getting taller. So above product issues are not a problem for us but I would not buy it for an older dog who would use it because of health issues or limitations.

Great for Miniature Dachshund
My miniature dachshund uses these steps to get up on our high set bed, and we drag it in to the living room with us for him to climb up and cuddle with us on the couch. I have used several other styles and models in the past, but this is by far my favorite for the height and softness. It did take a bit of coaching to get him to not be afraid of using it, but once he got a hang of it he was running up and down. It is constructed with thick study hard foam, and the cover can easily be removed and cleaned in the washing machine. I have done this several times and it has not warped the shape of it. My pupper is also on the heavy side for a mini weenie, he's around 15-20 lbs and this holds his weight just fine, the only issue we have had with it is that it slips back when we place it on our bedroom floor. I have a marble finish tile in the bedroom and the cushioned steps slide back when our dog reaches the final step and attempts to jump towards the bed. I believe a few other reviewers have mentioned this. I solved this problem by placing a weight at the base of the steps to keep it from slipping back, but am contemplating buying a grip/slip mat to place under it to keep it in place. Other than that, it really is a great piece

Inestable y mala relación calidad-precio
Es muy inestable, mi perrita pesa unos 10 kg y si no sube exactamente por el centro se voltea fácilmente. En la publicidad dicen que sirve para perros de cualquier tamaño pero la verdad creo solo funcionaria bien para perros muy pequeños. El cuerpo completo es de espuma de polipropileno así que no tiene nada de estructura, se hunde muy fácil al apoyar el peso. Sólo es espuma forrada de tela, considero que no vale lo que cuesta.

Worth every penny!
These stairs may be pricey but definitely worth it!! They are great quality with dense foam and unlike most dog stairs theyre actually nice looking! I love the fluffy tops for traction as my bed is super high so my dog has to hop down onto them. It only took her one night to learn how to use them and finally i can sleep without her barking at me to pick her up throughout the night. Worth every penny!

Watch pricing it’s fluctuating
Step works ok for small dog, it’s soft and if pressure on it it would get deformed easily. Not impressed how much pricing is fluctuating - mine was bought a week after Christmas and now $16 cheaper
