Hot and good light.

The lamp was delivered in good order and it works just like it was supposed to. Very hot for a little extra needed warmth in my room in Afghanistan where there are no heaters allowed. Comforting to have the pillow heat up over my head and feel the added toasty heat!

Fumes potentially fatal for birds.

The product description did not have the warning contained on the product's box. "WARNING: This product contains PTFE. When heated, it creates fumes potentially fatal to confined birds." I gave the product three stars because even though I can't use it for my baby chicks in the garage, it may still be a good heat lamp. But, Amazon did let me return it for a full refund.

Heat Lamps

The lamps are great for keeping newborn puppies warm, and I have been using them for years without a problem

Disappointed

Came to me used and broken, just put into a box with nothing to protect it. Had to go and buy one from store. Tossed this out

Arrived cracked … returned

Bulb arrived cracked. Box had air pillows on 4 sides, but top and bottom against mast case cardboard … probably no fault of bulb it didn’t work

Burnt out too fast

Liked it. Burnt out in less than two months . My other ones worked well for over a year so far. Kinda disappointed

DO NOT USE THIS WITH ANIMALS!!!!

I just received this light bulb, and I was super happy because my chickens have been very cold. I installed it over their water and food in a sheltered hut, I went back in a few hours later only to find them all dead. I take it when this bulb heats up it releases deadly toxins. IN THE CAPTION IT SHOULD READ NOT FOR ANIMAL USE*** SHOULD ALSO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ON THE BOX.. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS WITH ANIMALS

Great Service

We used this lightbulb inside our shower. The one we had shattered when water splashed up on it. That is why we ordered this shatterproof one. It works perfectly. Also, just a note to say that the first bulb was damaged due to the shipping package. I contacted the company and they sent a replacement right away.
