Dead within a week

I had this installed by an electrician, and it began flickering a few days later, so I turned it off. The next time I turned it on, it was dead. I have reached out to Satco customer service & will update my review if I can get a resolution. Note: I purchased three lengths; the shorter ones still work OK!

Hard wire only unless you purchase a separate plug-in electric cord

My under shelf kitchen light had broken plastic near the on/off switch and was unsafe looking so I needed to replace it right away. I needed a plug in light that worked right out of the box but no electric plug-in cord was included with this light even though the description stated that it plugs in and the box itself states that it plugs in. The instructions also state that a plug in cord is included. We had a power cord for the old light (which still worked so we knew the cord worked) and it fit into this light perfectly but this light still would not work. At that point, off we went to the big box store and purchased a beautiful stainless steel under cabinet light for less than half the price of this one (on sale) with a wave on/off feature and different light options AND a plug in cord was included along with a connector to connect more lights. THAT power cord that came with our new purchased light did fit and worked with THIS light so I was at least able to see how well this light worked. This light has all metal housing and being able to change the light tone from soft to cool to daylight is a nice feature. This light is nice looking, provides a decent amount of light for the size (I got the 22"), and you can add more lights to the system. Overall, this is a nice light but to have to buy a plug in cord separately is unacceptable, especially considering the price of this light is already high. I didn't even see an option to buy one power cord for this Satco light on Amazon.

Too dim/warm for my liking

And I didn't want to pay an electrician to hook it up so I bought the cord. It took me months to get the cord for it I found the cord for $11 online but had to wait a long time for it arrive because of the pandemic. So while I waited, I tried another light in the meantime and now that light is my favorite. The UltraPro is really bright compared to the Satco which is more of a warm yellow color. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JH9NXLS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 Also I have the UltraPro set up with Alexa so I don't have to reach up to touch the light to turn it on or off. This Satco light will now be used for a closet. I have the 22 inch version and feel it's a bit expensive for the quality of the light especially since I had to buy the cord. But mainly I just do not like that the light is so dim even on the brightest setting.

Lacking Power Cord, Connector Cable

The Satco 17-watt dimmable under-counter light comes with no power cable. That's somewhat understandable, as it's meant to be hardwired. But not everyone hardwires these. It has a high-low switch, and a power switch. It has three color temperature options (as opposed to up to 5 with other brands). It comes with a tiny 3-pin to 3-pin connector that can presumably be used to connect the lights end-to-end. With most of these type of under counter lights, you can get by with increasing the spacing beyond a quarter inch, so a short 6 or 12-inch connector cable would have been nice. The case is a bit difficult to pry open, and they have a label on the front that says to 'pry here'. I did that, and even being careful, marred the surface paint. In a world of more complete light kits, this Satco light, at $65.03, falls dreadfully short. I'm used to motion detector switches, cables included, wi-fi (on many models), and having everything included. This one makes it difficult to daisy chain the lights, unless you want them almost flush to each other. It oddly has two screw mounting options, but the covered screw holes on the ends will only be useful for lights that are daisy chained together, as you'll have to open the case to supply power, otherwise, unless you want to go through the hassle of contacting Satco for a power cord. Really.

Overpriced And Horrible Customer Service

I was looking for under counter light that would be easy to install without have an electrician. I found these by Satco that gave me the option for hardwire or plug in for easy installation. However getting the light I noticed that the plug or cable was missing from the package. I contacted the vendor and explained the situation about the missing power cable they said that it has to be purchased separately and was not included. I read the directions to them regarding steps where it read power cord included. They again reply that was a mistake and they would contact Amazon and have that changed. They told I would need to purchased the cord separately 63-510 after looking for the power cord on Amazon see picture below. They only sell for $760 and pack 96. This is not very good customer service so I call back and explained my issue, and they finally told me they would send me a power cord-free of charge. The light has three different lighting to choose from it’s a nice light but not worth the price and you need to buy a power cord separately. I would not be dealing with this product in the future. It is not worth getting a headache.

Nice LED easy install

Nice little light strip for above the sink, underneath a cabinet. Install was easy, light puts out some good brightness. Overall pleased with it. Will probably get more for the rest of the cabinets in the kitchen

Great under cabinet lamp. Does not include a power cord.

This under-cabinet lamp is the perfect length. I still need to pick up a second one. With another cord, you can attach the two together and string them to work with one power cord. As nice as this is, which gives good, bright light, especially over my stove, this does not come with a power cord. It is a proprietary cord, so you can't just use any cord. The cord only costs about $12, but I don't understand the reason for it not being included. Overall I am happy with it, but removed a star for the plug issue.
