Good, but overpriced

These pillow covers would be great if they weren't overpriced. They're good quality and without flaws in the manufacturing process, but they're not excellent, as one would expect for the price. I would have expected the backing to be of a denser woven material, for the price, but as it is, the backing material really is pretty good and I know I won't have any problems with it. Really these pillow covers resolve an issue I had with pillows that I needed, and so I should be thrilled about that, but knowing that the price is too high, just takes the joy out of it. I'm already picky, and so I already looked everywhere for the right pillow covers, and so I can't just get more reasonably priced ones, because the more affordable ones just were not right. I needed them for the two spare dining chairs in my bedroom, which I use as a "dressing bench." The chairs themselves are nice and antiquey, but by themselves against the wall in the bedroom, they looked barren. Lumbar pillows in ivory, with tassels (fringe would have worked, too) were the perfect solution. I found several possible pillow cover examples, but these were the only ones which really worked. So, I'm kinda bittersweet about the whole thing, but for anyone interested and who can afford these, they are well made, and I'm sure you would be pleased with them. Please don't allow my lack of enthusiasm to deter you from getting this pillow cover if you really want it. It's true that I'm not pleased with the price, but I did decide that I had no choice but to suck it up (I do hate that), and just order these. It's done now, and I won't return these, because they are good pillow covers. Hopefully the fact that I did this, despite my resentment, will inspire you to order these if you really are interested in them and can afford them.
