Well-made, comfy

The good news: these sandals seem very well made. They are surprisingly comfy for such a sturdy shoe. Great tread, but not clunky. They look nice, too! The bad news: they have a design flaw. The hook-and-eye closure (“Velcro”) has the “hook“ part on the shoe-side of the strap, not on the flap that comes over and securely latches it. Consequently, if you do not need to use the entire length of the strap to secure your sandals, some of the hooks in the Velcro remain exposed. Thus, if you kneel on carpet, or a blanket, your sandals will stick. If you cross your legs, the hooks will catch on clothing or furniture. Also, the strap that goes behind the heel rides a bit low. However, the shoes did not come off and stayed on securely so it didn’t bother me too much. I usually wear a size 7, and I ordered that size first… But they were WAY too big. Felt like clown shoes. Sent those back & in ordered size six, and that fits perfectly. .

Cushion sole. But not memory foam

I love Tevas for their comfort. I bought these bc the sole is like rubber and is springy. I wear a 6 wide and u can see how it fit perfect on my tiny foot. Only concern is the arch support isn't what I remember Tevas to have. But I love them all the same. Can hardly wait to use in the river.

Love these sandals !!!

I love these sandals . I wear a size 61/2 but ordered a 6 so went down a half size . I don’t like a long portion going out over my toes so I am happy with the fit . The strap parallel to my toes adjusts for personal comfort in the hat area. The shoes feel sturdy and comfortable . Wore them out for hours and very comfortable . I am very happy with them.

Slippery

I like Teva brand, but these slid around on a clean wooden floor. Not sure I'll wear them outside to hike as I am worried about their grip. The ankle strap is hard to adjust & the other straps are so-so. Overall not my favorite Teva style.

Love, love, love my Tevas!

I have worn Tevas in the past, but like most people, “prettier” sandals tempted me. When my crooked toenails became infected by wearing shoes, I needed something to walk in! So, I bought a pair of Tevas. They arrived today, and I just took a 45 minute walk in them! No discomfort at all, no blisters, and they melded to my feet! To me and my misfit toes, Tevas are well worth the money! As my mom would say, “you get what you pay for!”

love this sandal

This has been my go to sandal for well over 15 years, going back to the 80's. I love it for the health it gives to my feet, good arch support, strength, and it's also an attractive sandal I can wear with anything. The pair I just replaced were over 15 years old, so I can honestly say that the price is definitely worth it.

Fits as Tevas usually fit

A size larger than my Birkenstocks fits me well. These Hurricanes are similar to the Hurricane 3 which I had before but the 4s have also the heel strap adjustable. I think they are narrower than the Hurricane XLT which I ordered a couple of years ago and returned them because they were too wide.
