Excellent sandles
This pair is replacing a pair I've worn for 5 years. Hope they last as long as the old ones. Very comfortable even when wet

Unpleasant looking sandal, unpleasant feeling sandal
I bought this to replace a pair of trusty ol' Keens that are becoming unusable in some situations - the outer sole has been worn down and they're beginning to fall apart. I thought I'd branch out and try something different, so I went down Teva Avenue. After reading many reviews, positive and negative, for various models, I decided on these leather... things since some folks say they're more comfortable than the synthetic version. I can't imagine how bad the synthetic model must be because after just a single day of use, these had bored a decent size blister/hole in the right side of my heel on my left foot. Worst blister I've had in a while. Other than that, they were OK, other than: Adjusting the size to my foot (the shoe fits, the foot bed, that is) is difficult because once the strap is at about the right spot, there's very little velcro touching; the strap is too long for this size shoe The "laces" don't do much good since they're only above the area between your toes and ankle in a very small spot and are not elastic. The retention toggle does not stay put. Their patented design, which makes the outside edges of your feet looks weird, allows pebbles and rocks in but not back out. Wonderful! I do like the buckle; these shoes are easy to put on and take off so that is a plus, and huge part of why I decided to try them in the first place. Also, the sole, although not super aggressive, works pretty well for gripping on wet rocks, boards, and other things you're likely to walk on while wearing these kinds of shoes. Keens it is.

Comfortable Summer Shoes
These are simply the most comfortable casual shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for about 6 weeks and wear them almost every day. First, they are open enough to feel like sandals, but have enough structure to make me feel comfortable wearing them in either rugged outdoor areas or crowded metro areas where you need a bit more protection from clumsy people or the carts they push. Second, I've had plantar fasciitis in the past and need more substantial arch support than average shoes. On nikes or dress shoes I typically remove the low grade insole and replace it with a special insert that gives robust support. For this reason I have almost never found a pair of sandal type shoes that I could wear without a lot of foot fatigue or pain. These Tevas have excellent, higher than average arches which makes it possible for me to wear these all day with no problem, no pain, and NO FATIGUE! I am beyond pleased—I'm delighted! And, while I wouldn't want to run any real distance in them, they are supportive enough that I would not give any thought to running to the end of the block and back to retrieve a fleeing dog. Third, there are a couple of ways to adjust the fit on the heal and over the top of the foot. I was nervous when I put them on right out of the box... It was tight and uncomfortable across the top, and the heal was a little tight. Both have velcro adjustment strips, which I adjusted and ended up with an excellent fit. Lastly, the snap-in clip for the top strap makes them a breeze to get on and off in a hurry. I haven't had them long enough to know if they will hold up over the long haul, but after 45-ish days of use, they show no wear (though I've been in the mud with once or twice and wiped them off), nor do they appear to be weak or poorly constructed. I love these shoes and will buy them again! 2019 Update: Heading into my 2nd season with these. Still love them and have looked forward to being back in them throughout winter. They are showing a little more age on the top, but they are not ragged by any means. The leather upper appears to be more "wavy" or slightly curled as you might expect after it had been wet a few times. This doesn't impact the construction or comfort... they just don't look brand new. They have loosened up slightly, so i'm adjusting the velcro straps to compensate. I'm glad spring is here... I've already been back in them several times. Still feel perfect with the slight velcro adjustment. Based on wear over the first season, and now into the second, I'm guessing i can get at least 2 or 3 more years out of them -- probably more, depending on how rough I am on them.

Second pair
First of all I bought a second pair of these. They are average in many respects, and with sandals that’s good! I’m always banging my feet so having the protection the sandals afford keeps me from small foot injuries, toe bangs, etc. I’ve always had good luck with the Teva brand. I’ve only tried Chacos once, and they were a fail. Same for Keen. I just threw out some Tevas that I bought in 1990! And the one time I did have trouble with Tevas, their customer service was great. I cannot say the same for Keen or Chacos. These sandals are great overall sandals. I can take them many places and have them function as shoes or sandals. They are durable and useful across a range of uses. On my most informal days I can wear them around town. The biggest praise I can offer these sandals is that I bought a second pair. I have not found a better all-around sandal. For me a 3-star rating means that something is average or as they should be. From there things get better or worse.

Very good quality sandals
These are great sandals. My first pair are finally wearing out after 5 years of use. I live in New England so only use them about 5 months out of the year. I would have given a 5 star rating except for the fact that Teva decided to close over the 2 vent holes near your toes on this version. My first pair is open for better ventilation.

Good sandals and the feet fits good.
The only complaint i have is the strap locking devise should be a touch longer, i have it to max extension but would like it a little looser as it is a little tight.

Excellant upgrade to the best pair of sandals i've ever owned.
I purchased these sandals to replace a 6 year old pair of first generation Omnium Leather sandals. The old pair has been absolutely bulletproof and i am only replacing them because the sole is worn and they no longer offer the support need for longer hikes, I'll be keeping them for use as around the house sandals. I've been wearing the new Omnium 2’s for about a month now and they seem to be an upgrade to the the original model in just about every way. The toe holes are now covered with mesh that stop pebbles and sand from making their way into the sandal, the side and heel holes have been enlarged which makes up for the lack of airflow from the toe holes. The materials used for the lining don't hold as much water as the originals so they dry faster without sacrificing comfort. The foot bed is covered in a soft-touch material that reduces sweating verses the rubber/foam foot bed of the previous model. About the only complaint I have is aesthetics, I think the old model did look better, but I'm a function over form sort of guy so it's not a deal breaker. Hopefully in another 5-6 years I'll be back looking for a set of Omnium 3 Leather sandals.

Comfortable and supportive.
Well made, sturdy sole, 3 ways of adjustment to fit and improve support, holds foot in place on moderately variable terrain, closed toe box and side mesh seems to exclude those irritating bits of gravel, feel safe to wear for driving. The lack of lining on the foot bed can be little sweaty in high temperature but facilitates easy cleaning and quick drying if wet. Fast becoming my go to summer footwear, very good value at sale price.
