Pretty good hat.

I like the size and quality of this hat and wear it often. My only problem is the same others have mentioned: that the brim flips back in a strong breeze. I think a stiffer brim might help. Otherwise a very good hat.

Light wind will blow this hat off

There really should be at cord to tighten the hat on the crown. A breeze blows the hat back and the cord bead slides easily down the cord and the hat is blown off the head. I fought the hate the four miles I walked along the river. The sun protection is fine and being able to move the brim where you need is great but the size was to big and one size does not fit all.

Great sun hat for walking!

My friend bought this hat first and I admired it our entire hike! Even though it was shoved in her backpack, it evened out and unwrinkled well. So when I saw it available again, I bought it! It fits great, with the chin strap not too uncomfortable, and stays in place even if there is a slight wind. (Not more than 15 mph though) If the wind is stronger, the brim will flap back. This is my 3rd hat from San Diego Hat company and I am very pleased with the quality of the craftsship as well as the fit and sun protection it offers.

Perfect after using a hat stretcher to stretch it

I am woman with a hat size of 7 3/8 (Large). This sun hat was high quality, inoffensive, blocked the sun well and could be thrown on easily, but it squeezed my head/forehead a bit too much, and I had to use a wooden hat stretcher to make it not such a tight fit. Once I loosened it a bit, it was great. Alas, most women's hats don't fit my (apparently giant) noggin. I wish the white color had a white band instead of a black one because I feel it clashes a bit so I didn't buy it. I have the black one.

Looks great and offers good sun protection

This hat stays on pretty well, I like that it has the chin strap to secure it though since it can blow off with a stronger wind. It looks good with pretty much anything casual, feels comfortable and offers good sun protection.

Well made, cute hat!

I gave this hat a five start rating even though I had to return it because it didn’t fit my head. It’s well made, lightweight and perfect with the adjustable rim. My head is on the larger side along with a head full of thick hair, that makes it just a tad bit to tight for me.

Good protection for the sun

Nice hat! It protected me from the intense sun of Italy. Easy to wash and it dries really quickly.
