These were a complete surprise!
As an American consumer I expect “reasonably priced” to mean cheap & flimsy. How many Americans, particularly in rural areas, can say they don’t shop at Walmart? Maybe in the beginning Walmart sold quality products made in the US. That’s no longer the case. (And you can add the Dollar Store or Dollar General to places that sell cheap junk.) The last time I bought wash cloths they were paper thin and cheesy. In fact, they remind me of the old gauze bandages - so thin they have holes and light penetrates. Obviously I needed new ones. I checked the Dollar Store. And Walmart. (You certainly get what you pay for!) There’s a minimum level below which I won’t descend. I decided to check Amazon Basics. I’ve yet to receive any Amazon branded products that were a disappointment. When I received these, I got quality, thick washcloths!

Cheap plastic tags on towels HURT!
I love the towels that I got for a wedding gift in white...but unlike the ones I got last time, for myself, they have a plastic tab instead of the fabric tag...is it just luck to receive the ones with the fabric tags? They are softer on the face and after a shower...the plastic tabs feel bad...I bought them from the same company, but even some of my towels have them from my second order...a set of towels...the plastic tags are cheap! My niece is going to think I'm cheap! I would like to exchange them, but how do I know if if they will have the fabric tags or not? Then I got the wash clothes with the same plastic tags, today! Bit the hand towels I recd today had the nice satin tags! I love these towels because they come clean after they get dirty with makeup or greasy oil from my embroidery machine! Please tell me how do i order the towels with the satin tags?

Great cloths for a great price!
I'm very happy with these washcloths. I washed and dried them first and the gray color didn't fade and there weren't strings, so they're well made. I like them because they're soft and a medium weight. I don't like heavier cloths that take too long to dry and start to smell. These are perfect for what I want. The tags are really large so I'll cut them off. These are great cloths for a good price so I'm very happy with my purchase!

Generic wash clothes. These are the last ones choosen by family out of the closet. They work but not very soft.

The tag is freakin HUGE
These washcloths are fine. They’re super thin and soft, and I’m sure after a few washes they’ll be pretty absorbent. But THE TAGS?!? They’re huge! And they’re not the tear away kind. They’re ridiculously big. I’m going to have to cut them off, then there’s going to be those annoying ends that stick out and end up hurting the sensitive skin under my eyes. This is so disappointing. I am keeping them, bc they’re ok otherwise, but I’m writing this review so hopefully Amazon Basics removes them. They’re obnoxiously big!

Buying new towels : Lesson #1
If you're looking for thick and fluffy towels, move along, these are not for you. If you're looking for not too thin, not too thick, these are for you! Plus, they are very soft! These are just what I was looking for and I wish I would have bought them sooner, but I was hesitant because of some of the very bad comments I was reading. Seriously, it kills me when people leave bad reviews on good products. I'm not saying these are award winning towels, but they are good quality towels. So, here's a few tips… 1. STOP RIPPING THE TAGS! See attached picture. 2. They stained your clothes? Wash the towels before using them. Wash them ALONE and in warm/hot water first. 3. They are pulled, snagged, flimsy, thin? These are not luxurious Turkish towels, what did you expect for the price you paid? 4. Not very absorbant? Here's a tip: Stop using liquid fabric softener! Fabric softener essentially applies a thin, waterproof coating on your clothes. Sure, it makes them softer, but lessens their ability to absorb water and detergent over time. It's called common sense... Hope this helps!
