Definitely pre-shrunk. Definitely not the advertised waist size.

I have a problem with the Amazon size assistant in this instance. It led me to believe that the size on these jeans was accurate to the average of people who ordered them. My experience is completely contradictory to that. Upon receipt of the jeans, I tried them on and they felt 2 to 3 sizes too small in the waist. So I compared the new pair to a pair of "Wrangler Authentics" I had purchased from Amazon two months prior that fit perfectly right out of the package. Pictures show more in this than any description, there is a three inch difference in the waist size of pants marked the same size. But more telling, is the tag itself. The 'Authentics' tag has the Wrangler logo in red, while the 'Wrangler' jeans tag looks pretty generic. Now, in comparison, the "Wrangler Authentics" is about 2/3 the price of these jeans, fits as advertised. The weight of these jeans is the same, in spite of the size difference. I do not have an accurate scale, but used a luggage scale where they each weighed 1.8 lbs for my samples. Quality of material seems to be consistent between the different 'brandings'. I have bought Wrangler brand jeans for more years than I remember, and would never expect to have quality issues. This is no exception, as the only issue is the size. I would return these jeans, but have no access to a UPS facility, which is the only option to return, even though they were shipped to me through USPS. They'll be donated to the thrift store. Maybe that's a silver lining, but I hope the next recipient will be able to try them on before buying.

Worn twice. Flimsy cheap thin material. Not worth anything. Had to patch and patch again. I want my money back.

First of all I was pleased to find that the front of the pants was placed toward the front and the back was toward the back. When I put them on, it was like pulling on a piece of history, although I did not have to wrangle them on, I felt like I could wrangle a steer or an old mossy cow from deep in the briar thickets. They felt good in the saddle, just enough slide but not too much that I felt I would slide right over the horn when the horse hits the breaks when I tie the lariat to the horn. I cuff my jeans mainly because it is supposed to keep ticks from getting inside your clothing. These jeans cuff very nicely. It is important to note that the belt loops fit standard and some non-standard belts. You can also use suspenders, but remember, you really shouldn’t use both belt and suspenders as it gives the appearance of being overly cautious and indecisive. One or the other, make choice dammit!!! The pockets work as designed, they hold things, although not all things should go in your pockets. My daddy always told me not to stand around with my hands in my pockets. It is not a good look. Overall, these jeans are great. I would recommend them even if you don’t ride and rope, you will look like you do, and that is a good look. Top them off with a western hat, a leather vest, and a bolo tie and you would be welcome in any decent home. Cowboy on folks.

Carpenter pocket is worthless unless all you have is a pencil

not very good material

these pants were not worth the money paid, Husband wore the first pair (he bought 2 pair) 2 times then material let go on back pocket corners ( they were not tight on him,) 2nd pair about a week after having them same issue. very poor material and these are supoose to be work pants, i think not. very dissatified in this perchase. never had an issue with anything i have paid for on amazon except these pants.

I got more then I was hoping for. I love my new pants, as for fit I guess I never measured myself right. I will for sure buy lots more cloths from here. time to get to me was great too. I will do more shopping from Amazon
