As Good or Better than Simple Human Bags
When I went to reorder Simple Human Code J bags, they were not in stock, so I took a leap of faith on these bags and could not be happier. They actually fit my Simple Human trashcan better than the brand name ones, are every bit as sturdy, and at the time were almost half the price. The Simple Human bags have come down in price a bit, but these are still about 25% cheaper for an equal or better product. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Study & Comparably Priced - 200+ Tested without issue! Highly Recommend.
I know everyone usually wants the gist of a review, please see the bottom for my quick summary, or continue reading! My wife and I always look for well priced, alternatives for the "J" code trash bags from SimpleHuman. I just can't get over the cost of trash bags from them, so we are trying to find great alternatives. We've tried "J" code trash bags from several different companies, and have been pleased with most. These trash bags are comparable in quality to the others that we have tried. We've had no issues with these trash bags ripping or tearing. Even when we have overloaded the trash bags, they have held up well, and we didn't have any issues. I've also tried filling these with water, and there were never any leaks, so that's a bonus as well! Nothing makes me more angry than the trash bags leaking fluid into the trash can. As long as this brand is available, we will continue using them! We are happy with our purchase. Quick Summary: * Ease of Use: 5 Stars * Pricing: COMPARABLE * Sturdiness: 5 Star - water tight, and no ripping or tearing! * Installation: EASY * Recommend to others: YES! * Continue using myself: YES! * Final Thoughts: None. After trying them, I feel they are every bit as good as the higher-priced brand.
Like you are doing right now, I read all the reviews before I made the decision to buy these "off-brand" garbage bags. I was very worried that the much lower price might mean poor quality and a bag that didn't hold up. I have now been using the PlasticPlace bags about a month. I don't know if they vary from batch to batch (how their quality assurance process works), but I can tell you that the bags I received are every bit as strong as the SimpleHuman bags they replaced. I am happy to say that they are an incredible bargain. This may just be my imagination, but these bags seem to come out easier when you lift them up to take them out of the can....it's like the coefficient of friction is less than with the brand name. From now on, these are what I'll be buying when I need new garbage bags.

Great replacement bag
Much cheaper than Simple Human J bags. Fit perfectly, only about 15% less sturdy than originals. Love the bulk box.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit for my Simple Human kitchen trash can. Sized for J bags and very strong I’ve pulled hundreds of these bags stuffed full out and not torn one. Highly recommend these bags.

As good as the branded originals
These fit the superhuman receptacles and see close to if not as good as the branded ones. Still too expensive for trash bags, but I was feeling frustrated with the hefty ones we had been buying as they seemed to stretch and then tear when trying to remove them.

Ok replacement for the real thing
These bags are essentially the same size as the brand name, though they fit much more snugly around the lip of my SimpleHuman J-sized trashcan. I've seen some reviews say these are thicker than the name brand and that's why I ended up purchasing them to try to save some money, because who wants to buy cheaper bags if they're just gonna rip right?! The bags seem to be more stretchy than other off brand bags though, and they haven't ripped like other off brand bags. However, these are much thinner, and the draw string feels like it's going to rip out if pulled too hard or if the contents in the bag are too heavy. I'm afraid to carry the bags by the ties, and carry a fully closed bag by the bunched up part at the top where it's tied. I never felt the need to do that with the name brand bags. Overall, I'd give these a 3.5 out of 5; but Amazon only accepts whole number ratings, so I rounded up to a 4 because at the time I purchased they were half the price of the name brand bags. Not sure yet if I'll purchase another case of these yet, but I think I'll always have a small pack of the name brand bags nearby in case I know I need something more heavy duty.

Disappointed!
I purchased these bags as the Simple Human were not available when I ordered. Most reviews said they were good so I thought I’d give them a try. Never again. They rip every time I take the bag out of the can. They’re tall bags so they should be able to handle the weight of the garbage within. This is not the case. They’re really thin and the handles rip out almost every time I remove a full bag from the can. So disappointing!

Good purchase
Extremely comparable to the simple human bags . They are a bit thinner and do fit a bit more snug in my garbage can however that doesn’t bug me. I was able to fill it to the top (it was pretty heavy) without any ripping of the plastic bag or handles. If your only using it for your household garbage you should be fine. Will be buying again !

Waist of money
I was not excited to be paying over 50.00 CAN for 200 garbage bags, however amazon was the cheapest. Even a direct purchase from the manufacturers website was more expensive... I will return the purchase. the strechy kirkland garbage bags fit fine and are around 20.00 for the same count. I removed the custome fit bag and placed it outside my door, knowing i would be adding more to it ( as always) and when done so the bag tore at the seam of the top tie. Split horizontally. The Stretchy bags are way better for the dollar value and can hold alot more. I reside in a town house complex and have to walk my garbage to a bin in the parking lot. not a short distance. The bags look and feel luxurious but are crap! SO ask yourself do you have to look good walking your trash or efficiant when still distributing plastic to an earth that is over consumed by it.

Great Value and Very Durable
I purchased the garbage can that goes with these bags and thought I would spend a little extra and get the bags that fit it properly. They do fit perfectly and they are extremely durable. You get 200 bags in the box and they have lasted us forever. In the long run, it's 100% worth purchasing these bags along with the matching garbage can.
