Nice quality
Beautiful curling iron. Holds heat well and makes perfect curls. Definitely worth the money

solid performer, titanium-infused barrel, heats up steadily, but not the most lightweight
RUSK PRO 1.25 Inch Spring Curling Iron has a titanium barrel, is sturdy and curls hair well. There are 3 temperature settings and it heats up very quickly. The glossy slate gray color is neutral. Overall, it performs well for the price range that's it's in. However, it's not my favorite curling iron, mostly due to the weight. It's just a little heavier and a little more difficult to maneuver than what I prefer. Also, the titanium-infused barrel is sometimes a little too slippery. My favorite curling iron is currently a T3 model that is lighter in weight, has 5 heat settings and a ceramic barrel.

Great for long hair!
This is my first RUSK hair tool and I like it. The barrel is nice and long which is great for my long hair. The design is sleek (I like the black barrel) and it feels well-made but maybe not quite as premium feeling as I would expect for $80. There are three heat temps to choose from (300, 350, and 430) which I appreciate since I'm trying to use less heat on my breakage-prone hair. I'm happy with the curls it makes and the wand in general but I don't feel it's enough of a step above the more affordable brands to warrant the price. But if you aren't concerned about budget, I've got no complaints about performance.

Very good curling iron
RUSK PRO 1.25 Inch Spring Curling Iron, For All Hair Types - Extended Barrel Easy to use to create waves and loose curls with its wide barrel. Longer barrel works well with longer hair. Heats up quickly and evenly. Adjustable heat up to 430 degrees so you can suit your hair's texture and condition. Titanium barrel helps to fight frizz and smooth the hair.

The length of curler is PERFECT for my very long hair
I usually buy whatever curling iron is on sale at the store. I have not really ever bought high-end, quality ones because frankly, I didn't think I needed to. Of course, I always admire what my stylists use, but I always figure that whatever they use will be out of budget for me. I can finally say that spending a little more for better quality is worth it. I first thought that this curler was too big and long. I didn't realize that I've been needing this size for a long time. I take FOREVER to curl by incredibly long hair (it is very, very long and medium-thick) with my current curlers. In my picture, I compare side by side one of the curlers I own (and a pretty standard size I'm used to). This grabs a good amount of hair and I am done in minutes whereas before I would take triple the time. One thing though, the curler doesn't do a great job of grabbing thin pieces of hair. For example, the ends of my hair are a bit thinner, and they fall out as I try to turn the curler. I have to move it up to grab more hair and then slowly move it down to "catch" the hair and turn. I hope that makes sense. Basically, it has to grab a good amount of hair because it just doesn't close tight enough for thin strands. This only has 3 heat settings. This annoyed me at first. I thought, why would an expensive (to me) curler only have three to choose from where my cheapo one has a bunch of settings? Now this will differ for everyone, but I found that the medium setting (355 degrees) is what works best for me. And when I thought about it, once I found the setting that worked in my previous curlers, I never had a need to change them. So it's essentially the same thing and it didn't matter how many options there were. This heats up incredibly fast. I'm used to waiting around a bit. The first time I used it, I almost burned myself because I put my hand near it and it was already hot. Cooling down is also fairly quick, but not as fast as the heat up. There are a lot more pros than cons for me on this one. This has replaced my other 1.5" curlers (I actually gave them away recently) because of the ease of use and just how much faster it's made styling my hair.

Extended barrel great for long hair
I’ve used various rusk products recently and so far they have all been high quality and gives me the impression that they’re a brand you can count on. This curler is much more expensive than what I’m used to using so I was interested to see if there would be a visible difference with my hair. To turn it on you just hold the power button, which is the only button. There’s only 3 temperature settings which I felt was a little strange since there’s usually a dial with various options. When you chose the temp there will be a light next to the one that’s on. It gets hot fast so be careful! The barrel is long which it makes it a great curler for longer hair. Honestly it’s one of the features that sets it apart from some of the other brands because shorter barrel for me means it will take longer to curl everything. Once it heats up you’re ready to start curling and you control how much hair and how tight or loose you want the curls to be. It’s a pretty lightweight curler and feels good in your hand with a little rubber grip. I also like that the cord has 360 swivel so you aren’t getting everything tangled while you’re using the curler. It is expensive, but if you curl your hair everyday it would be good to invest in a curler like this that’s going to last you a long time and help you get the job done quicker than a cheaper one would.

Feels Solid and Quality, More Heat Settings Would be Helpful
This is a really great curling iron. It feels really solid in the hand and heats up incredibly quickly. We haven't timed it but if you turn it on it is ready to use by the time you brush your hair a bit. No need to plan ahead. At about $70 this fits right in the middle between the cheap ones and the super high-end models. The only thing I would like is one more heat setting. The 75-degree difference between medium and high seems a little aggressive for my thinner hair. I'd love something in the middle around 390. Overall very happy with the "RUSK PRO Curl Titanium Spring Curling Iron 1.25" Extended Barrel, Versatile Textured Waves, Titanium Infused, Fast Heat-up & Cool-down, Up to 430 Degrees, Instant & Precise Heat".
