Absolutely beautiful table runner

I had this table runner on our dining room table over the holiday season and it looked gorgeous. It looks more elegant than most table runners because of the double layered effect. I was already thrilled with the way it looks but just got around to washing it today. I was just sure I would have to iron the daylights out of it after I washed it, but I was so wrong. It turned out lovely! I simply took it out of the washer and dried it on a drying rack. I didn't even use the dryer. It doesn't even require ironing.....I was shocked. Anyway, this is a gorgeous table runner....simple and yet very elegant and it washes very well.

Disappointed

Very pretty, but even after washing it several times & ironing it, it still won't lay flat.

Not sewn straight

Likes: the fabric was nice, color as depicted. Fabric not soft - quite stiff. Dislikes: The ivory fabric was sewn badly onto the beige linen fabric. At the short ends, the ivory fabric was not sewn straight at all. On the long ends, the ivory fabric was not cut evenly, so when the edges were turned under to sew onto the beige fabric, you can see the unevenness due to the sheerness of the ivory fabric. Very sloppy work. First order was lost and 2nd took quite awhile to come, and since it is very difficult to find a plain fabric 18 x 72 table runner, I was very disappointed in the quality of the work. It was shipped in a large box.
