Better than the original

This is the second time I've replaced the sprayer on my Delta kitchen faucet; this one is better than the one it originally came with. It feels more sturdy and the hose more flexible.

Perfect fit

...then again, why expect anything different from a mfg. part that is supposed to fit the same mfg. faucet. That is kind of the point. I didn't want to deal with a 'make it fit' situation with the requirement of adapters, hose clamps and such. I verified the Delta faucet I was dealing with fit to/went with this sprayer. It does. The install itself is a couple minute process if there is an existing hole in the sink/countertop. Unclip the existing plug, snap in the sprayer, done. Nice finish. Perfect fit. Excellent diverter action with a strong spray output. Yes, 'one-each' sprayers cost about 1/2 the cost of this item. The ease and simplicity of install, plus the assurance of 'it fits' makes it easily worth the cost.

Easy to install with Delta diamond seal tech kitchen faucet.

I installed this sprayer in under 5 minutes. If you have any questions about installation, Delta has a great YouTube video to help you out. The only additonal advice I'd give is the video instructs you to simply slide the retaining clip over before removing the plug. I found that you have to pull the retaining clip out a little (not completely out), and then slide it over. Then slide it back over to align the clip, and push back in. It does require a compatible Delta faucet - so check to make sure yours is compatible before ordering. Asking in the questions section appears to get a quick reply from Delta customer service. The one downside is that this sprayer doesn't always fall flush with the mount when retracting. Definitely a design flaw. It is a little unsettling considering the sprayer costs almost as much as the faucet itself. However, the sprayer otherwise works great.

Perfect fit

Perfect replacement nozzle for my current piece. All that I had to do was unscrew the broken nozzle and replace it with the new one. didn't need to mess with the hose at all.

It's a Delta brand part, so presumably will last? Hope so... Easy to install, with the exception of the little blue plastic clips which are kinda crazy to get on and off properly, especially getting them on is a B-word... I assume plumbers or guys in on the secret know a trick of holding them or squeezing them just right or something. If you weren't on your back with your head shoved up under the sink it might be easier. I was struggling, finally fingers getting frustrated and it finally just sorta went into place. Like the Delta instructions say, the little round protuberances on the insides of the tabs should *not* be visible when properly in place. I bought an extra clip based on another reviewer who broke one but I didn't need it, my existing one survived the procedure, heh. So like I said time will tell how long it lasts before the hose cracks. All in all a good experience. Hate to pay another guy to come out and say bad words for 15 minutes pinching his fingers under my sink and then charge me 130 bucks, lol.

It drips!

My original Delta faucet side sprayer started to leak around the trigger and out of the bottom of the sprayer. Can't complain after 11+ years of service! This sprayer matched the finish and design style of my original one so I ordered it. Simple enough to install and works. Kinda. The spray pattern is more sparse than the original one. The trigger also has very little resistance which is fine but it does make me wonder if after a number of years of service will the trigger spring weaken to the point where the sprayer does not shut off properly. But the sprayer drips. Out of the front where the spray comes out when you finish using it and put it in it's storage position. Not a constant drip, but some water remaining in the end of the sprayer accumulates below the sprayer on the sink. So I have traded a leak for a drip.

Fixed the problem

My Delta kitchen spray head had been dripping from around the push down button on my spray head almost every time that I turned on my kitchen tap. My Delta taps are fifteen years old and had no success trying to find a replacement head from a couple of plumbing supply stores. So I ordered this one off Amazon. I unscrewed the spray head from the new hose assembly and put it in place of the leaking one!!! Ta Da!!...it works great!!! I called Delta Faucets directly and they told me the part # I needed and that Delta sell it for $99 but that I could get it off Amazon for cheaper. I said I have one from Amazon which is a different part # from what they told me and that it works!!! Good Luck!!!
