Perfect Replacement for the Delta Victorian Two Handle w/Sprayer
If you don't know your faucet model/part number, go to the Delta site and follow their pages to find it. It's not perfect because many older models don't have images associated (come on, Delta!). But I eventually found our 10 year-old kitchen Victorian-style two-handle model with sprayer. Once you find the model, the parts list is easy to get and that's got the part number for the valve. This is a two valve pack and they're identical so whichever side is bad can be replaced with either new part. If you're watching youTube to learn how to replace the valve, just a note: This is kind of an oddball valve because it doesn't use the seating washer/spring mechanism many other models use - and many videos describe. The good news is I think this one's even easier to replace: 1) Turn off the water in the house (I don't bother with the quarter-turn valves under the sink). 2) Turn both handles full-open and drain the remaining water. 3) Get a 3/32 Allen wrench to loosen the handle nut just enough to lift the handle off (you don't have to fully remove the nut and I promise if you do, and you have my luck, it'll wind up down the drain or somewhere invisible on the kitchen floor). 4) With a medium-large pliers loosen and remove the large nut at the base of the exposed valve. These nuts should only be tightened 'a little past finger-tight' so it shouldn't be hard to turn and loosen - and remember that when you put it back on. 5) Note the position of the valve (including the grey piece) - and jot down a quick sketch if needed. In order for the handle to line up in the same spot, you're going to place the new valve in the same position - don't worry, we're not talking extreme precision, just a good close lineup. 6) If you can't lift the entire value out with your fingers (you probably can't) take the pliers, grab the metal stem and pull up. Or grab the sides if that gives better leverage. When it pops out there may be some water left in there, but nothing you can't slosh out with your finger. 7) Take the new valve, line it up and press it down into the opening BY ITS SIDES. Don't press the stem down hard because you can pop out the bottom washer and the valve 'float', or leave them misaligned. The way you know the valve is pressed down enough is the large nut will fit over and catch enough thread to finger-tighten. 8) Finger-tighten the large nut, take the pliers and just go another 1/4 of a turn and leave it. If you turn on the water and you're leaking at the handle base, take off the handle again and tighten the nut a bit more - but don't overtighten it. 9) Put both handles in closed position, turn on the house water, and try your replacement valve to see if your leak is fixed. Mine was and the job took about 10 minutes.

Is it the cartridge or is it the aerator?
I bought a pair of these cartridges to replace my old cartridges that had developed a small drip, or so I thought. The new cartridges didn't solve the drip problem so I figured that I had somehow damaged new cartridges during installation and purchased another set. I was extremely careful during the installation of set #2 but yet the drip problem remained. I chalked it up to a slight variance in specifications and that the small drip would be something that I had to live with. Wrong! The cartridges were fine. It turns out that the aerator had become partially clogged with debris/minerals and this was the cause of the small drip all along. When I installed a new aerator the small drip disappeared. Live and learn, right?

Not interchangeable with seat and spring models.
This was supposed to be replacement, but didn't find out until ready to use that the would not fit with seat and spring models. Description should have been up front with that information. Now I just have to find someone else who can use these.

No installation instructionsionsr
They worked as expected. Installation could have been easier with some detailed instructions. I had to figured out how to make them work for hot or cold. You have to position them differently and in my application you don't use the inserts that are included.

Hard to find. Perfect fit!
Only place I could find this part after searching multiple hardware stores and surfing the internet. So happy to find it here. Fast shipping. Item as described. Fit perfectly. Pay attention to what the picture show and the just the part number. You are getting exactly what the picture shows which is what I needed. I couldn't find the part number anywhere. Comes in a pack of 2. Easy install. For the people that say they are put together wrong you are just putting brooch in the wrong position. It was difficult to figure out the first time. But they are correctly assembled. Pay attention to how the old one is put in before you take it out.
