Perfect
This aerator worked perfectly. The original aerator in my Delta kitchen faucet had become scaled up and did not have a nice even flow after several years of use. I removed the recessed aerator with the tool that came with the faucet originally and tried to clean it, but found it be be very fragile and some of the plastic pieces broke even though I was careful in how I handled it. I went to Lowes and found a Danco brand replacement as they didn't carry the original Delta part. This Danco didn't work well at all. It seemed like it didn't seal the threads properly. Luckily, I had kept my instructions from when I originally bought the Delta faucet and found the part number, RP46827. I ordered this from Amazon, it did not look exactly like the original part but it worked perfectly. It only took just about 2 minutes to install and has a nice even flow.

Is there some "secret" to screwing this in place? UPDATE: I finally got it.
I have the correct aerator. I have the correct wrench. (This is according to the manual that came with my faucet.) And yet no matter how tight I make it, a stream of water shoots out from the side, so much so that it's unusable. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? UPDATE: Apparently the secret is to keep changing the angle of approach until you get it exactly right. It has to be perfect. Close doesn't work. The good news is that if you have the angle exactly right, you don't have to make it extremely tight. Just lightly hand tight is enough. That makes it very easy to unscrew and keep trying till you find that perfect angle.

HIgher volume, splashes everywhere
EDIT: the manufacturer lists this 2.2 gpm aerator as the replacement for the original 1.8 gpm RP70191 aerator. After using it for six months, I just can't take it anymore. Anything that touches the water stream splashes water all over my kitchen. Shape of the flow plus increased water pressure just makes it a mess maker. I found the old RP70191 selling at 4x the price, and repurchased it. No regrets. Now I'm back to washing my dishes without the waterfall. Stick with the gpm your model originally had unless you have a huge commercial sink. This works fine, but the increase in water pressure from 1.8 gpm to 2.2 gpm creates a lot more splashing. My normal depth sink gets significant splashes over the lip from routine things like washing my hands. Possibly I got a defective aerator, but the shape of the water seems fine. Guess I need a deeper sink. (Also, the first one I got looked used. I just threw it away without installing and they sent a second one at no charge.)

The only aerator replacement for the faucet
This is the oem product that fits or replaces aerator on this delta faucet. Be sure you kept your plastic wrench tool to remove old and install new. Order several as they clog and will eventually need replacement.

Shower Surprise
It wasn't easy to remove this piece with the wrench originally provided due to some mineral build up. My fault, should have maintained it better.Ruined the wrench by wearing down the plastic wrench teeth. Took off the faucet stem, turned it where I could see what I was doing and could work on the piece with the new Delta wrench I purchased and a wrench from my tool box. The netting on the opposite side of the red deteriorated and water was spraying all over the place. Replacing this piece was cheaper than buying another faucet cause this faucet did work so well before. Putting on the new piece was a breeze, Thank goodness, I can stop wearing a plastic placemat held by clothespins with the end of it in the sink for runoff cause I was getting drenched while doing the dishes. lol

It was the perfect aerator for this older faucet. We couldn't find it in the stores. Worth the price paid.
