Same as other reviews; (screen-accurate) short torso and long sleeves, but fits well otherwise
I'm 5'10", bust-waist-hips measurements are 40-33-40 respectively, and I'm comfortably wearing two (old & worn-out) sports bras in the pictures. I have a very slightly beefy build due to my physical job. I bought the medium and it actually fits quite comfortably, plus the fabric is soft enough that I was able to wear it directly against my skin without an issue, even as an autistic person with some sensitivity to certain textures. The fabric isn't overly stretchy but it's not uncomfortably rigid either. I snapped a friend of mine and in all seriousness he asked if I'd had it tailored, hah. He couldn't tell from the picture I sent him that, like the other reviews here all say, the torso is quite short and will try very hard to act like a crop top. I wore it to work for a few hours and was definitely doing the classic TNG pulling-the-shirt-down motion every few minutes. If I'd worn it for a less dynamic and physically active occasion I think it would have been fine. The sleeves are also slightly unusually long, especially in comparison to the short torso, but not inconveniently so. Granted I'm tall, so my limbs are proportionate to that. The shirt was a little difficult to get on and off myself, as the zipper is in the back (which is screen-accurate, so that's fine), so I recommend having someone around to help you get in and out of it. I will say that it came missing the communicator badge. This isn't much of an issue for me, as I intend to buy a different and nicer one based on other reviews anyway, but on principle it's a little crummy. I contacted the seller and did get a partial refund for that. The pips look excellent, although the black one (not pictured) has some slight imperfections that you would have to look pretty closely at to notice. Overall I'm very happy with this, especially for the price. Once I get a good looking communicator badge I think this will honestly become a staple of my everyday wear because frankly I enjoy fun.

Not as bad as reviews make it seem
Thought I would leave a review since the older ones made me leery of buying this. It fit ok and is not as terrible as the reviews sound. I wear a women’s XL and I ordered a men’s L, the sleeves were too long but otherwise fine. I’ve never had another uniform shirt so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was pretty good. The fabric is more shiny than fuzzy like the picture makes it seem. It does come with rank pips. It was also amusing that the font on the package was TOS style, but it has a picture of Picard on the front, and the first side of the rank pip “how to” booklet that you see is how to reproduce Voyager crew ranks. Really it was a decent purchase and I’m glad I got it.

Authenticity
Very screen accurate.

Not for a convention cosplayer, but perfect for Halloween
If you order this expecting convention quality, you're fooling yourself. If you just want a TNG uniform shirt to wear while passing out candy, or attending a party, this costume really cant be beat. The fit seemed a little small, but I'm a smaller medium so it wasn't the end of the world. The pips are metal, with what looks like lacquer on the black pip, mine came damaged, so I just opted to pip myself as a commander, but if you needed that black pip, buyer beware. The communicator badge is plastic, as other reviewers noted it comes attached to the costume, mine had some minor painting errors, but nothing you'd catch in a quick glance. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but I knew what to expect.

Fun costume, could be better
I hardly ever buy costumes, but I've started going to Comic Con in recent years and I'm a big fan of "Star Trek: TNG." Seeing the costume pictured on the model it looked like a perfect replica of the "TNG" uniform, and to an extent it is, but it's kind of like the difference between a McDonald's hamburger as seen on TV and the one you get in the restaurant. What you see is not quite what you get. PROS: - Actual rank pips and communicator badge. Not sewn on or painted on. And with the pips you can choose your own rank. Very happy with their quality. - Easy on, easy off, and the stitching is very convincing and accurate to the TV show. CONS: - Fabric is thin and can't be ironed. I don't expect a costume to look like it came straight off the set, but it's still a bit disappointing. - The rank pips actually end up a little too heavy for the collar and pull it down a bit, so maybe I should demote myself to ensign. :) - The cost is too high given its quality, though I guess all licensed costumes and collectibles are like that. I had an Amazon gift card that knocked down the price by more than half, and I'm glad I did. I don't think it's worth the full price. FIT: Some specifics about my size and how well the costume fits me: I'm 6'2", about 180lbs, so I'm tall and slim. I bought a Large, which is the perfect length on the sleeve, a bit wide at the shoulders, and maybe a little short on the torso, though not so much that it causes a problem. A smaller size might have fit better on the shoulders, but also might have been too short everywhere else. OVERALL: Happy I bought this, and won't be returning it, but even though the accuracy is impressive its quality as a garment leaves something to be desired.

Weird shoulders (that can be fixed) but otherwise a solid costume
So this may just be because I'm a woman, but the shoulders on this shirt seem awfully large, which isn't helped by me having rather tiny shoulders, but also when compared with the much tighter bottom of the shirt. But the good news, ladies, is that it's pretty easy to tuck in and sew along the seams to bring the shoulders in (I hacked it together and I'm not that great at sewing; also didn't bother taking it apart, so I can rip out my sewing and return it to its usual size if need be, but it looks fine outside). Since there doesn't seem to be much in the way of affordable female TNG uniforms that are quick to get, this seemed like the best option, and I'm quite pleased. Don't love that I had to alter it, but at least it was a relatively easy alteration even for a n00b--and much less work than making my own from scratch. Oh also, the combadge it comes with looks like the paint is wearing off. I'm not sure why . . . But in any case, I planned to use a different one and could always repaint this one if I really cared.

Wrong colour and size shipped!
We ordered a medium in blue and got a gold in extra large so had to return and it enough time to try and reorder. The costume did look to be rather well made for the price.

A SPACE CADET AND.LOOKING THE PART
Now that I look the part I still can't get my family to salute me but they say I can expect to get beamed up very soon.

Doesn't fit like a straight t-shirt would
Fit is a bit unusual. It fits large across the shoulders but fairly snug at the waist. There is a built in waist band that is hard to see in the pictures that makes the waist measurement very important. Doesn't fit like a straight t-shirt would. Also, sleeves are very long. My husband is 6ft tall and the sleeves were too long on him.

Poor quality
I usually like to buy my shirts a size bigger as I don't like tight shirts but this product was super tight around the waist and huge in the chest area with the sleeves super long. The zipper ran down the entire length of the back which made me feel uncomfortable knowing that someone could just unzip me if I was at a convention. The fabric is poor quality for the price as well. Not a good purchase or my star trek cosplay for me.
