My Prince Charming was SO Handsome!
I visited the Ronald McDonald House dressed as Snow White and my pup wore this outfit! He was ADORABLE! The costume is well made. I had some difficulty attaching his crown (mostly because he was NOT feeling it), but he looked quite royal! I definitely recommend.

Nice costume for Sir Barks-a-lot
Adorable costume for Sir Benji Barksalot, knight of the round water bowl. We had a great time at the Renaissance fair. The downsize is the cute little chain-mail looking hood would not stay up on his head unless your dog has really big stiff ears The hood will not stay up over them. He still looks super cute even without the hood. It was stretchy enough for me to get it on him. And the sizing chart was true to size.

It's cute but...
I should start by saying that Lord Nibble (Nibble for short) has a full wardrobe of tees, jammies, socks, puppy boots (bc all dogs are puppies no matter how old they are). He is literally never "naked" and always has a t-shirt on of some sort. I say this bc I spoil the living daylights out of this little guy to keep him warm in the colder months and help protect his body from fly bites due to his very thin fur. So basically, I'm a dog clothing snob. Or expert. Possibly both. Anyway, we ordered this Sir Barks a Lot costume just in time to go to the Renaissance festival here in Minnesota. We even paid the extra $4 for rush shipping to make sure we'd get in on time. The costume arrived right when it was scheduled to, was properly packaged, and the sized right based on measurements. It's also adorable. So why only 2 stars? * It's cheaply made - this costume is made from that same thin and cheap material all Halloween costumes are made of that people get stuck paying money for the they shop last minute. * There's velcro on the underside to close it and the knight "helmet" is not attached- I had been expecting a one-piece unit. Think dog hoodie with the hood connected at the collar on top so it stays in place. I had also been expecting to have to slide it over Nibbler's head like we do with his other tees. Instead, the velcro on the chest area is kind of hard to secure, unless your dog is a statue, and has a very high probability of 1- coming undone and 2- getting fur caught in it. * The "knight helmet" slides on small dogs - it isn't attached to the base of the costume. It's only "method" of staying secure is by actually putting the hood up and keeping it in place by hooking it over your dog's ears. Nibbler is a tiny dog with a tiny head that was far too small to do any good in this particular area, so instead of a helmet, he had a "chain mail" turkey neck for the five minutes the costume was on him before I took it off in frustration. * The 'chain mail" is cheap - I wasn't expecting real chain mail by any means. But for $14, I wasn't expecting this particular costume accent to be so thin that it would snag on a good wind. Even a glittery screen print effect would have been better. This costume could be amazing if it was entirely redesigned. Instead of the cheap material its made from and the multiple pieces it currently comes in, it should ideally be made out of sweatshirt or t-shirt material with all costume accents screen-printed, AND the "helmet" should be attached. I've paid less many times on Marvel comic tees and hoodies that double as costumes, but are also practical to leave on your pooch if you prefer, so I see no reason why the Sir Barks a Lot costume can't deliver the same quality. (hint: its always easy to score big on t-shirt and sweatshirt dog costumes the week after halloween...) For the record, right after the queen gave him back to me - turkey necked and velcro undone on his underside just from being handed from person to person - we took the costume off and put it in my bag. I promptly bought him a handmade puppy kilt that did not disappoint. If you're looking for a quick and easy costume for your dog and don't care about the quality or do not plan to re-use, you'll be okay with this costume. If you have time, though, do an etsy search and take a drive to your local Petsmart or Petco. You're bound to find something you love that is of much better quality and worth the price tag attached to it.

Cute
My Boston Terrier looks super cute in this costume. She doesn't like the mesh like head piece but other wise she can wear it all day.

Great costume, if you don't have a pitbull
I love this costume, it's decent quality for the price and is cute to boot, BUT, be warned that if you have abarrell chested dog like a pitbull, this may not fit comfortably, or at all. I got an xl for my 45 lb pittie knowing it would be huge and still tight, but I can't even get her arm in the holes and when I try the "step in and pull over" method, her poor armpits are squeezed to death and she can't use her arms right because of it.

I was a little sad, but ordered the next size up
I measured my dog and purchased the knight costume based on the sizing chart provided. For my dog, he needed a large. I attempted to wrestle it on him, but at the end of it all it seemed as if he was going to Hulk out of the thing. I will mention my dog is a border collie at five and a half months, so it is very possible in between the time I measured him and then got the package he may have grown. I was a little sad, but ordered the next size up, an XL. The XL fits his torso fine, but it seems the shirt is slightly too large for him. The chain mail hat that came with the XL on the other hand is massive on him. It seems more for dogs that have wider faces (compared to the narrow face of my dog at least). However since I still had the smaller costume I purchased, I tried that hat on him instead and it fit perfectly! I'm happy with his costume, he'll be wearing it to the renaissance festival. I'm just a little bummed I needed two costumes for everything to fit.

Small sleeves
I have a chunky dog, so I bought an XL. It fit around the waist, but her chunky little legs didn't fit through the sleeves! Just know if your dog has fat legs it may not fit the way you want it to. Can't really use it for this reason, but it appears to be well made otherwise and was as pictured.

28lb Cavalier size large fit well. Body costume comfortable, he could walk around comfortably, crown was soft fabric and had trouble staying upright .

Product arrived on the date promised. The sizing seems appropriate based on my dog's breed, which is an American Cocker Spaniel. I ordered a Large size. My dog is only 6 months old (~13 lbs), so the costume is a little big right now. The "chain mail" headpiece seems a bit fragile; there is a deliberate split in the back to accommodate the dog's neck/shoulder girth, but I can see this being a ripping point.

Sizing was way off
Ended up giving it away, couldn't use it. It is an odd fit. For my dogs breed is smaller than the suggested fit and it was too small for her.

Very small!
Did not fit our dog at all. Measured as stated and was way too small.
