Better than Wal-Mart, but not exactly 1-to-1.
You really get what you paid for here. It's not exactly movie-quality, but it's definitely better than anything you'll find on the shelf of your local toy store or shopping center. The cowl I received had been creased a fair amount, likely due to handling conditions, which isn't a manufacturing problem and can be remedied at home if you know what you're doing. To my surprise, it was a little bit bigger than I expected; I have a fairly large head, and thick hair, so it's quite rare that headgear ever fits loosely on me. Fortunately, if handled with care, it won't take too much doing to tighten the fit to your specific measurements. The cowl does completely cover your head, which is a big plus, but it doesn't go very far down the neck, meaning that unless you're also wearing something to cover your neck (like a top with a high collar or a scarf), there will likely be some unsightly neck exposure. My biggest complaint, though, is with the ears. Even if you take the time to work out all the unwanted creases in your product, the shape in which the bat-ears of this cowl are molded is best described as "loose". The ears curve too smoothly into the head, making them look less like pointy ears and more like awkward corners. But if you know a thing or two about costume production, it may very well be possible to better shape this molding for a more refined and appealing look. If you purchase this cowl, don't expect to receive a film-quality replica of the cowl Ben Affleck wears as his version of the Batman. This product is certainly not without flaws; the abrupt cutoff of the neckline and lack of definition in the ears keep this product from being the best it can be. But even with those issues considered, this cowl is certainly at a higher level of quality than anything you're likely to find in stores. If you have the know-how and dedication to refurbish it to your needs, this cowl is definitely worth a look for your costume, be it for a fan-project, a cosplay for a conversation, or just for fun. Definitely worth the price I paid for it.

yep it's a batman mask
I bought this for a low effort costume idea to have on hand whenever I want to pretend to be having fun while locked in my house during the pandemic...or for parties, whenever those are a thing again. It's slightly big on me and may need a little shaping with heat or padding so it doesn't keep pressing into my eyes. Looks pretty decent. It will do the job and meets expectations nicely except for one thing: I really hate the velcro closure on the back! I have long hair and the hooks on one side of the mask catch it and don't really let go, so every time I take it off, I have to spend a few minutes trying to figure out how to untangle my hair from the loops (tying it back made this even worse). I'll probably end up wearing a balaclava under it or cutting off the velcro and adding a different kind of closure that isn't going to pull out or rip all my hair. This might not matter to you if you have shorter hair or are already bald, but I feel it should be mentioned.

Fits like a glove but had some issues.
It fits perfectly. But I do have a larger head than most. But there's too much material around the eyes so you have to trim the holes a bit because it pokes your eyes if you look up, down, left, right, FORWARD. The nose was warped too and was a little too long restricting breathing. But trimming that to where my nose actually ends fixed the warpping and made it look better. Over all it's worth the money for the price.

Jawline looks funny and they eyes aren't straight. Poor quality & craftsmanship.
The picture they show doesn't give you the full expectations of this mask. The first ting I had a problem with was getting the eyebrow to pop out as it looked like I was hit in the eye with a baseball bat and permanently dented it. I had to repeatedly push it out and ended up putting a balled up napkin behind it when on to get it to set right. Then the jawline on one side is weird looking. It makes you look deformed and cartoonish or comical looking other than the intended use of it. It's too loose in some areas and snug in others. It looks like they just threw this together as they didn't pay any attention to the jawlines looking the same on each side.

Pokes eye and short neck length
It might just be because the material got... persuaded.. while being cramped up in shipping, but the inner corner on one of the eyes was basically bent in and pokes me in the eye and is uncomfortable to wear. I think I saw a suggestion to heat it up and manipulate the rubber/plastic/whatever to form fit better though, but that's kind of a disappointment to put in maintenance on a product to make it fit right with first use. Plus I guess its my own fault for not really paying attention to the picture for how low it goes. I have the Bale Batman mask too and that covers down more of your neck, which is nicer.

On A Larger-Than-Average Head This Is Perfect!
Not perfect, but only a notch below the $150-$300 cosplay masks. The inside of the eyes need trimming to keep from rubbing as others have said. I have a large head and it fits me like a glove. I love it and I didn't have to break the bank

OK for Holloween or cosplay.
Not a bad mask. It takes some effort to get the ears to stand up straight but, stuffing them to form and using a warm blow dryer helps. Use some sand paper around the inner eyes to get rid of the ridge. It tends to catch on the cheek and make the mask look funky. Fits a bit big but you can wear a beanie under it and/or pad the forehead for a better fit. Might even add a but of Velcro to the back to tighten it a bit.

Amazing Cowl, for a great price!
When I first opened it up, the mask looked terrible but after wearing a few times and shaping it, it turned out perfectly! I was shocked actually at the quality, it’s almost like a pvc kinda mask and it just feels amazing! I definitely recommend this product. It helped me out when I broke my other Batman cowl last minute and had to find a quick replacement

Looks/fits good but Batfleck's Batman doesn't look ideal
Would have rather had a more traditional Batman mask with longer ears. Mask looks exactly like Affleck's Batman so if you're a fan of that look this is for you. Only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because I'm not huge on the look. Wish there was a more budget friendly traditional Batman mask on Amazon!

cool looking Bat-mask
Everyone has their own style that they like. As for myself, I really Love this Bat-mask ! i wear a home made zorro like mask underneath, made from a cotton shirt material, so that the batmask material doesn't make me sweat. No mask is perfect, but the reasons why i like this mask is cause - 1 ) the material looks different , better and more movie-like than any other for sale, and 2) the ears are smaller than most, which again, is more rare in bat-masks. i am very happy with it ! and it allowed for me to create funny Batman videos on Youtube. Should You buy it? well, as they say "to each their own". i imagine everyone has their own taste and expectations from what they want . All i can do is give my own opinion. I Love it. It is perfect for the comedy batman vids i create. i definitely feel it was worth buying. Fantastic! Peace.
